I have been a Smoothie King customer for many years, in several states across the US, and sadly, today is the last day as a Smoothie King customer.
As a business owner for many years, I observed many things during my visit this morning.
1.) The store was grossly understaffed during peak time. 2.) The 2 women working looked so frustrated at whatever was going on "behind the scenes", they looked as though tears were going to fall at any second. 3.) The "older" of the 2 women seemed to be new and not fully trained for discount smoothie day. 4.) When the "older" woman asked the "younger" woman for assistance on the drive thru POS, the younger woman replied in a tone that was nasty, rude and short. Either she was not a trainer, or she is not a right fit to be a trainer. 5.) Even after getting "snapped at", I did receive my smoothie with a smile and a pleasant send off from the older woman.
As a customer, I am disappointed at the obvious disregard for staff training, employee interaction and customer experience.
As a parent of young adults, I will not promote Smoothie King for possible employment opportunities.
I hope that franchise owners look into management at this location as things have really gone downhill over the past several months. The smoothies and customer service is...
Read moreI ordered 2 Strawberry Yogurt Delights from Smoothie King. Ordered in person through the drive through with no issues. Got my drinks with a short wait but no issues otherwise. The drinks were for my husband and myself though we did allow our 22 month old to drink from ours as well. As I started getting halfway down, metal pieces started coming through the straw. We started sifting through the drinks and found this on the bottom of mine. It appears to be a metal measuring spoon. It looks to have gone through the blender which is why there is metal all through out. I have been drinking smoothies from here since middle school. This has been my utterly worst experience and I will never go back. I’m repulsed. And worried for my Son. I highly suggest finding a different place that cares about the quality of their smoothies.
Edited to state they told me to put feedback through their website for them to contact and I was NEVER contacted. Still have yet to go back to any of the franchises. Still disgusted.

Read more1/10 wouldn’t recommend. went to get smoothies - the whole establishment was younger workers , throwing things around joking. once i paid for my drinks the cashier told me she was gonna process the order at the window register. i went to the other side to collect my drinks thinking that she was gonna come back with my change and receipt. instead i had to ask for my receipt and she tried to tell me she already gave me the change which she didn’t. another worker came up and told me there was basically nothing she could do but count down the drawer at the end of the day and i could come back for the money. not once did she try to look at cameras or open the register to give me the money. i guess this is what happens when you let younger kids cashier - EDIT those were teenagers not adults , the girl that had my money in her hand (as the other employee said) should have simply...
