I have given Twisted Fresh many chances over the past year to improve in the areas they have been consistently poor in. I now feel I have given them enough excuses and it’s time for a review. The service has gone down immensely since they first opened. Our entire extended family use to be amazed in every area of this establishment and grateful for having a healthy option when dinning out for a quick bite. It was very refreshing to have this option vs McDonald’s and the like. Sadly the same cannot be said over the past year in eating here. The costumer service is lacking but always giving them grace because they’re teenagers. Still tip them because they’re learning. If you opt for tacos, wrap or quinoa bowl be prepared for your portion sizes to be half or less (yes, this evening I receive a bowl that looked like scraps) of a chicken breast. I would be happy to pay more to receive more chicken but when I do, I still don’t even get equivalent to a chicken breast. You have to order a chicken sandwich without the bun with quinoa on side if you want your moneys worth for a chicken breast. My children’s chicken quesadillas have thick layers of cheddar cheese with a quarter of a chicken breast tossed throughout so you’re lucky to get a bite of chicken rather than so much cheese both kiddos gag on. Again, happy to pay but even when you do, you still don’t get chicken equivalent to a full chicken breast. Same with avocados, don’t dare order and pay for extra because you won’t get any. If you don’t like/request no pico or lettuce, you’ll get it anyways, ordering online or in person, they don’t care to read the slips while putting together your order. The owner/manager needs to step in and lead the way in what’s outstanding, acceptable and or unacceptable in what he wants the face of the establishment to represent and continued to be raved about. I kept returning in hopes things have been fixed and never wanted to write a negative review but we pay too much to keep throwing our money away and being disappointed every time. I hope the owner reads reviews and cares enough to keep the good reviews he worked so hard for, and in giving us a fresh and healthy option is mommas appreciate when we need help with lunch and or dinner. Read moreI placed an order tonight thru Doordash at your Parkville location. 3 beef tacos with Xtra beef and Baja shrimp bowl. The tacos were all beans, no beef at all. I called the store to see if I could get the tacos remade and my son would come pick it up. I was told I couldn't do that, I had to go thru doordash. I explained I now have a kid without dinner. Was told again I had to go thru doordash. I asked for a manager, she got on the phone was extremely rude from the get go. said we can't give you a refund, I never asked for a refund, I asked for a replacement, if i had to go back thru doordash I would have to wait another 45 minutes, I only live 5 minutes away. She saud fine, I'll make your order, $14.95 will be due at pick up. I'm like are you kidding??? She was screaming at me the whole time. I asked for her name and managers name as well as a phone number. She refused to give it me. And hung up on me. I called back, guy on the phone said we can't give you a refund, I explained again, I never asked for a refund, just a replacement and I would send my son to pick it up. But I wasn't paying for it, he said he'd make the order, told me the girl I talked to was the owner and her name was Angela. I don't believe any of that. He also told me there was no way to contact anyone other than her. I did end up reaching out to doordash and filed a complaint,, I did not pick up the remade order. I worked about 60 hours that week as i always do and i wanted a good friday nite dinner. Also reading reviews which there a lot of negitive and they are defending their mistakes when they should be focased on the "customers" and weighing the fish then increase the amount you put in cause theres not enough i am a fish taco freak and theres not enough stop defending reviews and learn from them and make every order like a piece of art every customer every time take pride and get serious and the job. that is what chefs do and you are chefs when putting together a taco or burrito. you want every customer to be like "i cant wait to come back to that place"....
