The location on Barry Rd. is horrible! There were 2 cars in front of me in the left line and about 2 cars behind me. While taking the order of one of the cars in front of me a car pulled up in the right lane. When done taking the order she proceeded to walk to the truck that had just pulled up. Mind you I have already been in line for about 10 minutes. So I know the car in front of me had to have been there longer and she just skipped him for a car that just pulled up. Finally before taking my order I told her what had just happened, she just shrugged it off and asked me what I wanted to order. I was planning on using the app because I had a free drink that was part of my order but completely forgot after the previous situation but wasn't even asked if I wanted to use my app. I also had expressed that one of the drinks with no ice was for the next morning. When I get to the window I get my two drinks, one with a straw and one without as it is for the next day. As I start to drive off I notice the one with no ice for the next day is spilling everywhere as I'm driving, so I pull around to wait, again, to ask for a sticker to put over the lid so it wouldnt spill while driving home. I feel like that should have been done when asking me if I wanted one or two straws previously and I said one or at least making a note that it was for the next day and to put a sticker over the mouthpiece of the lid to avoid spilling in my car. So when I pulled around the girl taking orders was in the right lane talking with some people in a car, not even taking an order. I thought she was going to come take my order put proceeded to just stand there and talk. Finally after some time, she rushes over to take my order when I am about to pull up to the window. Once at the window I was given an attitude by the barista, the one with the black hair, both times I was in the drive thru this same evening. She is extremely unprofessional and rude. I was given a sticker and the WRONG DRINK. I had to tell them it wasn't the correct drink and gave it back to them. She handed me another drink and it wasn't complete she forgot to put the popping boba in it, I handed it back to her, she added the popping boba and gave us our drink and our order was complete. I was there for 30 minutes or more on a Sunday evening. That is completely ridiculous! I don't like leaving these types of reviews but girls you REALLY need to get...

I was one of those newcomers, I didn’t know what I wanted, or where to begin. I was greeted and assisted by a professional, personable, and energetic gentleman named Ian. I had no idea where to begin, and he told me all about the choices I have, of which I couldn’t decide. I asked him what he recommended, he suggested a popular item (I hope and pray it isn’t seasonal) on their menu at that time. I said I’ll take that in a large. Not only was it delicious, it was also free. Ian paid for it, and it left me floored. Gone are the days of people who are excited about what they do, and eager to help or be a good person. Ian is that person who is all of that, and a bag of chips.
As a sucker for coffee, I love coffee, and good people. Dutch Bros has it all and more. Shout out to Ian, you are the MAN! Shout out to the team working that day, I watched y’all knock that line out in NO time at all! Y’all need a raise, I appreciate every one of you. They remember my name, they remember what I get, they always greet me with a smile, they ask me how I’m doing, they do all the little things a human should do when encountering another human. They show they care. We always have a short conversation. I don’t feel rushed when they are busy. I’ve been going to Dutch bros since I lived in Oregon and now that they are in Kc, and down the street from me, I’m ecstatic. I appreciate every single person who works at this location because I go to this one the most, but they have done a hell of a job hiring great people. People with great smiles, people who are extremely selfless. thank you. You have no idea, the week I’ve been having and just going in and them being who they are has protected me from having a bad attitude or letting my frustrations get to me. This place is a top notch high level customer service giving place.
