Fitz’s Blarney Stone — Restaurant in Kansas City

The bartender, Kori, was the rudest person I have interacted with recently. She is condescending & said the most inappropriate things to us. She spoke to my friend & myself as if we were friends with her. Almost as if she knew us well enough to "give it to us straight" & felt the urge to tell us that we were wrong about something me & my group were PRIVATELY discussing. It's rude to chime in to a stranger's conversation period, but it reaches new heights when its an employee with patrons. Her actions are unprofessional & it's something anyone with a decent head on their shoulders should NEVER do in the workplace. As a business owner I would be mortified to have someone like Kori represent my company in any shape or form whatsoever. On top of having an insanely disturbing interaction with our bartender, the bar smells like a men's locker room after a wrestling competition. It doesn't appear to cleaned more than once a month. I've been a regular here for a while now, and like some other patrons, I have to quit coming when Ted is bartending. He lingers talking to patrons and leaves you waiting forever for a drink. I wandered down the end of the bar where he was chatting with some woman and he outright said, "You need to move along." (Um, this is a free barstool, no one is sitting here??) In other words, what he's doing is more important than his job. I've also seen him SCREAM at patrons before, and he poured a beer on one guy's head at one point. This dive bar is a staple and I love it, but get rid of Ted please. Edit: Hi Ted! (note: not the owner) - that beer-on-the-head story comes from a reliable source. I did not see it myself, so consider it retracted. But I have seen enough to know you don't care about...

when i get off my server job, 🎶 and don't wanna drink around kc's snobs - down the street is where ill meet plenty of darts; a bathroom that sometimes smells like farts; a $3 pour, me it's for; friends galore; and a smoker's patio out the door! 🎵

behind the bar are some real stars~ 🎶 jake is one who doesn't have a car; john makes ya laugh, not yawn; shaina, the sweetheart, can do no wrong; and last, but not least, ted - with the most beautiful hair on top of his head! 🎵

i think they're all just great! 🎵 SO many selections, all perfection - any drink ya ask for, they'll (probably) make! as much as i could go on and on---! this is the end of my fitz's blarney stone song~ 🎶
