Went to "I Pho Tower" for dinner last night! The Pho was authentic and delicious. If I had any down notes on it, it would be that there wasn't enough protein in the bowl. It was a little scarce but the flavors were absolutely spot on! The crepe dish my Wife had was also delicious and she was very pleased! only downside for anything was the service which could've been better. When we arrived the first person we contacted said it was a buy one Pho get one free! I thought awesome one for tonight one for tomorrow! We placed our order and I told the waitress I would like the second order of Pho to go. I was told by her "You can't do that!" Um..OK..Whatever. Jackie ordered coffee as she does everywhere we go (we've actually left places that told us they were out of coffee! It's kind of a big deal for my Colombian born Bride! They brought her an iced Vietnamese coffee which she tried and didn't really care for. We told the waitress she would prefer a cup of hot coffee so after looking at us like we were clearly insane she left the first coffee and brought a second small cup with cream and sugar already in the cup. We finished our meal, packed up our left overs and requested the check. The total seemed a little high at 53.00 so I took a closer look and found we were charged for both coffees at 5.00 per. Average coffee at best at higher than Starbucks prices. So there you have it food 9/10, service 3/10, coffee 2/10. ...

The place was oddly dark and kind of gloomy which already set this weird moody scene. None the less I was pretty excited for the food.
The price of the food seemed fine until I received the bowl. I ordered, Pho with steak (rare sliced beef), tripe, and Brisket. What came out was… all that except for the brisket- instead I received meatballs which was definitely not what I ordered. Also I did say no cilantro, but they ended up giving me no garnishes what so ever. Their reasoning was - the cilantro was already mixed with the rest of the garnishes (I don’t know if I should fault them for that). The amount of bean sprouts and basil was lacking and the piece of lime they gave me was practically a dried husk. I was pretty disappointing… at least the broth was flavor to it but man it didn’t fill me up and I’m a tiny person. Also take in mind that if you have a party of 6 or bigger they will automatically include in a 18% gratuity onto your check.
I probably won’t come back. I hope others will have a more pleasant...
Read moreThis was our first and or last stop to this restaurant. It is incredibly disappointing how terrible the service is. It took about 13 minutes before our orders were taken. This was on a Sunday and since they have a full bar my sister ordered a Bloody Mary, but the server said that she couldn't do it because she's too busy. You have a full bar and just because you were too busy... you refuse to take an order? We looked around and besides us there were only 4 other tables occupied. I really couldn't believe it. She then ordered a Sprite. The server asked if she'd like a Dr Pepper instead since they were out. My sister ordered a rice platter while my mother and I ordered Pho. Usually, in a Pho restaurant, Pho typically is the fastest item to arrive before anything else. It took about 15 minutes for her platter to arrive and additional 10 minutes for our Pho. All in all, the Pho was bland and the platter was cold. I don't expect all businesses to be spectacular, but I do at least expect hot food to be hot and...
