Candy Smoke Shop — Local services in Kansas City

I called before I went to the shop and asked if they had 7 hydroxy extract in powder form, the person on the phone assured me they did. I asked second time, clarifying the request, as its a 30 min drive and i've only seen that product offered at online stores.

Unfortunately, when I arrived all they had was Kratom Powder . Yes 7hydroxy is derived from Kratom, but they are not the same. (That's like saying thc flower and dabs/rosin at the same thing when one is clearly stronger than the other) While at the store I had the clerk (who was very nice btw) make a phone call and check again.

Once more they tried to sell me the plain leaf kratom powder, at that point I had to give a ted talk on 7hydroxy and show them the differences and how to check potency through a 3rd party.

The shop's 7 selection isn't bad, but it's mostly underdosed and overpriced tablets, which is why I was looking for the powder. I bought the Roxy tablets for nearly $90, while online price is only $50 after shipping for the same bottle. I left suggestions on where to source the powder, so I will be following up to see if they get it.

Leaving 3 stars because they were not informed about the products and cost me a unnecessary trip. However, the clerk was very nice & they have a decent selection of wraps, so I could see myself coming back there for...

Came in here because it’s close to my house after a 10 hour shift at the ER. I called earlier in the day and the gentleman (Jackson) was very helpful and let me know they had what I was looking for. I decided to run in on the way home and walked into an empty store and then a girl with black hair and piercings walked out of the backroom. I let her know what I was looking for and she was very rude. While I looked for what I needed, instead of answering my questions she was too busy glued to her phone. I let her know I was worried about a certain percentage of vape juice burning my pod and she replied with “Who cares.” Once I picked something just so I could get out of there she went to the checkout and made zero eye contact with me or even acknowledged my presence. I checked out and left as soon as I could. Very disappointed with this shop and will not be returning which is unfortunate because it is 4 minutes...

Review Update- like I said in the original review (attached at the bottom) the shop is great and most of the employees are awesome, however, I am having to update this based on a single employee that was working the last 3/4 times I came in....both times this girl was not helpful at all, no knowledge of product, didn't listen to what I was saying , was disrespectful, rude, acted annoyed that I was there,kept the resting 8itch face the entire time and with the customer in front of me as well. This was my favorite newer vape/smoke shop and unfortunately this was my last visit and I suspect that I'm not alone from the comments.
