Bubble Wrapp — Local services in Kansas City

Bubble Wrapp is one of my favorite small businesses in the Kansas City Westport area! They carry super high-quality imports of Japanese vinyl collector toys, so they have an awesome selection of Japanese-exclusive blind-boxes and even authentic gatcha machines!! Despite the time and cost of importing, they sell their wares at super reasonable prices and have a really good buyer rewards program(it’s free to sign up for, too!!) They also have some super adorable plushies off of Etsy that are great to hug!! I got myself a Mousemoth, her name is Peach Whimsy and I love her so much. I also purchased some SANK figures from blindboxes, and I understand why the trend has caught on! It’s super rewarding. I adore my little guys.

Toys are an awesome art-form and it’s really cool to meet people who are enthused about them as I am!! They also have japanese snacks and accessories like lanyards, keychains, pins and charms, and a shelf of the store is devoted to high quality merchandise of brands like Pokemon, Dungeons and Dragons, and Sanrio classics like My Melodi, Kuromi, and Hello Kitty! They also are pay close attention to what new toys are coming out and have pre-orders available on their website.

The atmosphere of the shop is peaceful, and they encourage customers to sit down and open their blind-boxes in store, if they want! There’s some magazines to read, too. They are also very accepting of...

Randomly decided to see if any stores carried Labubu (if you know, you know. If not. Yeah) Anyways, found this store.

The owner, Nate was awesome. I don’t get down with these things like my gf does, so they were chatting all about the things. Him and his wife are he only authorized Pop Mart resellers between Dallas and Chicago (the two stand alone popmart stores) So although you may not be guaranteed to find what all the major stores carry, they do get it direct from Pop Mart and he charges retail.

With that being said, he was gracious enough to let my gf open two of the blind boxes, as he needed one for display. And she got the one she wanted.

My sisters and I loved our first experience in this shop. It’s small but you can find cute hidden gems! We were impressed by so many adorable and unique collectibles, stickers, and more. Definitely give this small shop a visit when you can because we look forward to shopping again!

You’ll also encounter the sweetest shop owners. A gentlemen opened the morning we went and he was joyous that we came in as he opened the shop. He continued to explain their rewards system in depth (during checkout) but I already knew I wanted to sign up, lol he didn’t even have to sell it to me. My sisters and I were full because of his positive attitude and how happy he was that him and his wife opened this shop in October!
