2 Bad Experiences: Save yourself the trouble.
1st: This was one of the worst experiences I’ve had at any JJ’s and no one should be treated like that, by the male cashier and girl working behind the counter making sandwiches, supposedly servicing customers. To explain, my fiancé and I orders sandwich’s from this location, through the app. She didn’t know they didn’t cook the bacon and wrote on our order, “cook the bacon PLZ :)”She did this because she’s a picky eater. Yes, I know, it’s partially her fault for writing that but she doesn’t know, she works in tech and it’s one of the few places we both like, so I order from JJ’s A LOT. The male working the register and the lady working the bench were making fun of her when I walked in and proceeded to do so in front of me and another customer and their child for a minute or two before acknowledging I arrived. Once they realized that I had the order they were just making fun of, they acted ignorant and childish. Unacceptable behavior and no one should be treated like that at any point. Do better JJ’s, this location in particular. Hire people that care, because those two, are slowly running your business into the ground.
2nd: An hour for delivery? Freaky Slow. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, ya can’t get fooled again. Never eating at this...
Read moreWe ordered delivery. They didn't call, text, or ring the doorbell. I had the app open while waiting for our delivery. It didn't update. The delivery driver said they knocked but they also said they were at our house "10 mins ago" which according to our cameras it was 40 mins ago. The bread is stale and the food was left outside in the hot August sun for about a half hour. I called the store for a refund on a least one (of the 3) sandwich bc we can't eat this food. The person who answered said they were the delivery driver and were rude. They repeated " I don't think there is anything I can do to help you" and hung up on me as I asked for a manager. I tipped 20% before we got the food bc the app asks you to. As someone who has worked in food and service for over 20 years I didn't want someone working their butt off to be shorted on their tip. I know the hustle is real. I'm still doing it. I always tip especially with how little I'm just fast food employees make. Kindness goes a long way. Don't go here, don't order here. It's a health HAZARD the second you walk in you can smell a stank like cats have literally been using this nasty place as their litter box.
