Pulled up to the screen, couldn’t see what we ordered. Drive thru lady was rude saying “okay okay okay okay” to everything we said. Being short “uh huh”. At the end she said 18$ was the total and I was confused cause I gave her a code for a 20% off the ENTIRE MEAL. Not 20% off one sandwich. So then I go to give her the correct code at the speaker for the 20% off and she tells me that code won’t work cause I have the 20% off sandwich code. Frustrated I take two burgers off my order. I figured we’d pull to the first one and figure it out since apparently what I’m saying isn’t understood through the speaker. First window closed. Second window I get there, girl in a bright colored vest immediately rude. I try to explain instead of whatever code they put on there to just put one for free fries instead cause I have my reward code. The two girls at the 2nd window were rude. Not listening. Dismissive. Then she wants to tell me that the code I gave her doesn’t work. As I’m showing her the code through the app. They both wanted to be rude as heck. Like I feel if the codes are this complicated you shouldn’t have them. I’m a service worker and I have been for over ten years. This behavior was just rude and I’ll be back up to speak with a manager this week. Thanks. Not to mention I said a Coca Cola and got a diet. Like trash McDonald’s...
Read moreFor a McDonald's, it's one of the better ones. We are typically there in the morning (normal breakfast hours) and the staff, especially the manager, all seem to realize that customer service is important. Service here has been good and have always been greeted warmly.
The place is reasonably clean. Nooks could use a scrub once in a while, but appearance is good.
My only comment for improvement is the food temp and menu. First, the menu is impossible to figure out inside. They have the TV screens that are changing in front of me. Can't locate "categories" of food easily. So the thought of ordering something new, at least for me, is out the window. I've heard others with the same complaint while in line and even mentioned it to staff and manager. The food, even with me standing right there to pick it up, is not hot. I am not sure how this is accomplished because I've stood there, seen my order placed in the hopper, placed on a tray, and handed to me all within a minute. I sit down, open my sandwich, and it is barely warm. I don't know how food is prepped, so I have no explanation. I do know this is not uncommon for McDonalds as the only one that I receive hot food reliably is the McDonalds on Red Bridge near 71. Hopefully the manager will take note and contact them.
Again, interaction with staff is 4 stars. Everyone...
Read moreI ordered on the app at 6 am (they were open) and somehow accidently clicked something that said I was going inside the restaurant to get my food so my card got charged $12.95. Mind you the inside wasn't open and when I went through the drive through the lady said the cook hadn't arrived and she didn't know if he was even going to show up. I asked for a refund and she said she couldn't give me a refund because I didn't order inside the store. She told me to pull forward because I was Messing up her numbers I said I will when I receive a refund. She ended up (supposedly) calling the cops on me I did the same to her and I've been calling and emailing mcdonalds corporate for a refund but have been told the refund must come directly from the store. (Weird huh) so this store has stolen $12.95 from me and held it hostage for 6 days and 12 hours now. This is a crime as far as I'm concerned. If kcpd is reading this YES I want to PRESS CHARGES!!! I have bank statements, Mcdonalds has the video and their cooks time card. I will stop at nothing to get my $12.95 back I will cross oceans climb mountains and pay lawyers but so help me God the golden arch is not stealing $12.95 from me and getting away with it. I have plans to get the fox problem...
