Zaxby's Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings — Restaurant in Kansas City

We have tried about 5 different times to eat here. At first when they just opened it was good. I have a big family and when we order all our meals we always pick our sauces. They make a big deal out of it. Today was the last time we will ever buy from zaxbys! Went through drive thru. They was rushing us through the order. After everything they kept saying is that all.... I told them what sauce we wanted. When we got to the window they had charged us for every single sauce. We ordered a 20 piece fingers and 4 meals.... And ended up only giving us 5 sauces. We had to go back in there and get the others that we was suppose to get with our food no extras. We pulled into the parking lot to check it all out. The 2 large fries was a single serving. Combined it would jave made 1 large. The chicken fingers was DRY and BURNT! Fries were mushing and most had way to much seasoning on it. Yhe toast was soggy and cold. Wings was luke warm and soggy like was setting in the sauce for a hour or 2. Staff was rude so was the manager that wasn't listening when he took the order... he was very rude when I questioned about the sauce. We will not be coming back to this place I spent $80 here and was the worst experience ever.. I can't wait for Rasing Canes to open up down the road to go...

Hard to find entrance to parking lot, maybe it's just me, or maybe it's all the construction and strange roadway layout. Drive thru open, but evidently carry out and dine in options are not available. (IMHO that's a good thing)

The menu is very confusing, but I managed to order chicken fingers and fries. Their chicken is so good!! They're fries are lightly seasoned (similar to Lawry's) and really good too. I didn't realize it, but the combo I ordered included coleslaw. I can't tell you how it tasted, but it looks quite pretty in my trash can. (yuck! LOL) The drive thru pickup window had 2 people working there, 1 male, 1 female. Neither wore masks or gloves. I was very surprised at that. Male said only "it'll be 2½ minutes for the fries", the female exclaimed that my Service Dog Zuma "looks like a bear"! And said nothing else.

After a few minutes, a hand held a sack out the window and closed as soon as I took it. No "thanks" No "do you need ketchup" Maybe he was scared of the "bear" (60lb Lab/Mali mix)

Ordered a 4 piece chicken strip meal. The service was phenomenal and so was the time it took to get my food. That is the only thing saving them from a 1 star review.

The meal comes with a drink, coleslaw, buttered toast and fries. The coleslaw was amazing and the only thing not soaked in grease.

The chicken has good flavor, but the chicken itself was stringy and the grease it was cooked in was too low of a temperature. This leads to the absorption of grease in the breading. Same goes for the fries, they were limp and greasy. I ate 3 out 4 of my chicken strips and my mouth felt like I had just taken a spoonful of grease and swished it around.

The toast also left much to be desired. Way over-buttered, under-toasted and limp and greasy.

I was shocked by the calorie values on the menu board when I walked in, it is no wonder to me now.....

This place will have a tough time competing against Chick-Fil-A up the road with...
