Grab N Go Tacos - Katy — Restaurant in Katy

I came with my family after work for the first time. I must say it was a disappointing experience.

To start, the tacos were advertised on the outside of the establishment as $1 dollar taco Tuesday. The only meats that have the advertised price we're chicken and pork.

Once we ordered, we were given a number, 6, we then sat down to wait for our food. Shortly after that a Middle-Aged lady with a grey shirt came out and said chips or queso? Being my first time I thought it was complimentary so I received the queso. She later came back agitated and said It was for another table. If she knew what she was doing she would have gone to the correct number. My table had a BIG 6 on it. She later came with the bill and aggressively asked that I pay for this queso. I told her that I was not going to pay for the queso and she got very upset and went on a tangent saying that nothing is free ( it as our first time here) and insisting that I had eaten some of the queso and therefore I must pay for it. She was so upset that she did not give us the time to even explain our point of view. This completely ruined our mood, so I refused to pay for the queso ( we only took a few dips) so she aggressively took the queso and chips from our table. Never would I ever make a customer pay for my mistakes. I hope her actions don’t define the character of this restaurant. I will not be returning here again. Today, I decided to leave a review because I felt it was necessary to address the lack of customer service and decorum their cashier has. Before typing out my review, I decided to scroll down to look at others past reviews, because I didn't want to seem as if I was over reacting, but because the food was good, and reasonable on Taco Tuesdays I decided to give it a try again.

After reading other reviews I noticed I wasn't the only person who felt their cashiers can be rude and customer service is terrible.

The first time, my food was served cold... but I didn't ask for a remake... I just took it, dined in, and even ordered a 2nd round of 3 street tacos. Now the 2nd time I came here... I experienced the same thing I was feeling. Rude cashier... bad customer service and yes... COLD FOOD!!!! This time, I decided to ask for a remake because this was just unacceptable. Instead of being met with an apology, the waitress just gave me a nasty look, took my food....felt it on top, took it to the back, and came back out with a hot order.

Ugh... I have boasted this place to my husband! This restaurant would be great but they seriously need to make some adjustments with their staff.

I tried to give this place another chance but today is the last time I will be coming back here. I walked in and ordered 4 potato and steak tacos (Only). I left with my order and got all the way back to work to realize that egg and cheese was added. I had to drive all the way back to let them know the order was wrong. I told them I wanted potato and steak only, nothing else. They remade the order and when I got out to my car, something told me to check it before leaving. I opened the order, and it was wrong AGAIN. I went back inside and said the order was still wrong and that I did not ask for eggs. I showed them the receipt again where it clearly says POTATO AND STEAK. He tried to tell me that I ordered wrong and should have never got the breakfast tacos which comes with egg and cheese. I explained to him that at the initial order, I never said I wanted the breakfast tacos, I said that I wanted 4 steak and potato tacos so do not put the blame on me if it was rung up wrong. He kept trying to argue with me and so I cancelled the order and asked for a refund. The girl that took my order just stayed quiet and never took accountability for taking my order wrong and they all had a terrible attitude. Customer service really needs...
