I had always wanted to do martial arts as a kid, but unfortunately, I didn’t have the resources. Two years ago, while going through a tough time, I decided I needed to make a positive change for myself rather than for others. I wasn't sure which martial art to choose, but I knew if I didn’t take the leap then, I never would. After looking around, Golden Eagle Taekwondo stood out as the best fit for my 9-to-5 work schedule. I took the leap and immediately loved it. The Masters are awesome, and Grand Master Um’s story is truly inspiring. Although I felt a bit awkward initially being one of the few adults in class, the staff and students quickly made me feel right at home. Unfortunately, my training was cut short by a serious car accident soon after. It took me over a year to recover properly, largely because I didn't give my body the time it needed to rest. When I was finally ready to come back, the team at Golden Eagle accepted me with open arms. They immediately honored the progress I had made and went above and beyond to ensure I was physically okay and could get back on track safely. This level of personalized care and support was incredible. I've now been back for about four months and can honestly say joining this school was the best decision I’ve ever made.
