This store tries to reap me off my taxes during an exchange! Met a lady with an accent there am saying this because I didnāt get her name so the owner knows who I am talking about. I am not saying it because am racist because I have an accent too! Moving forward, I bought 2 hair packs, each was $9.98 and with the taxes it amounted to $21.63. However, my daughter didnāt need the extra two I purchased this morning and wanted a refund but she said they only do exchange and she refunded me $19.96. I immediately questioned my taxes and she said upon using the credit next time I will get it back but that didnāt go down with me from being a well learned individual. I told her not to worry let me pick something of an equal value so we even out the transaction. I got a loose body weave hair of $19.99 after her ignorant and stupid way of calculating and also acting like a moron, she told me I owe her $1.64. My response to her without even doing the math is that I owe you a penny. She started going back and forth with me and rudely told me she has other customers and wonāt continue arguing with me. My take on this, she just made the owner lost a customer because every time I go to the beauty supply store I spend nothing less than $100 dollars and yesterday when we went there the first time I had great reception and even this morning but going to do the return and meeting this other lady really put a bad taste in mouth and they will never see me...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIt hurts to give you guys a 3. I've been looking for a black owned, at least one staffed by black people, hair supply store. I'm glad you are here and that the issues I list below are just because your establishment is new and learning.
The staff was absolutely courteous and helpful. I wasn't followed around or any of the things we typically associate with the other stores. This was refreshing.
I needed somethings that I find with ease at the other stores but weren't available here but since I was determined to support this store, I lowered my expectations and paid a higher price for lower quality products. One of the items I bought ended up being virtually unsuble, it had defects I didn't notice at the store among other things. Paying 60 to 100 bucks for something that can't be used does not make for repeat visits but I have hope that you will be able to stock with better quality products and offer competitive prices and time goes. This is hard industry for black entrepreneurs so, I am going to do my part. I'll visit this store again despite my...

I walked into the store I spoke to her and she asked me is there anything I need help with and I said no Iām just looking next thing I know she was running up on me out of no where she scared me she asking me oh you need human hair what kind? I said yes but Iām just looking I couldnāt believe it. As I spoke to her in the front Iām just looking because I wanna see what kind of hair I want to purchase this was very distasteful of her. Remind you there is one other customer in the store as well but she wasnāt running up on her (hint hint) she wasnāt a person of color! She left the register to run up on me it looks like she was the only one working in the store because I asked for owner or the other associate Joy, So I told her what she just did was so rude and I left! And I...
