I went through the drive-through yesterday at 10 am. and asked for a nitro cold brew. They were out. Substituted for a regular cold brew and wanted to add some of the sweet cream foam topping. They were out of that as well. Added an iced soy white chocolate mocha, no hang-ups there. Finally, I added TWO turkey, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwiches. Got the window. got all of my items, and the girl hands me ONE sandwich and says, "Have a good day." I asked for the other sandwich and she says "Oh, well I only charged you for one" (Here is where I got frustrated) it wasn't an " Oh, I apologize did you ask for 2?" she didn't even offer to ring me up another one, which I would have gladly paid for. So we just left. We felt rushed to get out of there, and quite frankly, this isn't the first time we've had hang-ups at PJ's. Still considering returning there or not. PS - Some of our issues stem from the drive-through. I think getting a better speaker would help since the road noise makes it hard for employees inside to hear orders. I've had to shout at...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI recently visited PJās Coffee and ordered a Mocha Velvet Ice, specifically requesting no whipped cream. When I received my drink, I was surprised (and disappointed) to see that it wasn't even filled to the topāit looked incomplete and unappealing. I politely asked the young lady at the window why wasnāt my drink filled properly, and she seemed visibly irritated by the question. Her response was that since I didnāt get whipped cream, they had to āmeasure it out.ā That explanation makes no sense & should not justify a poorly presented and underfilled drink.
If skipping whipped cream means you get less product for the same price, thatās a serious problem, and honestly feels like a cheap excuse for cutting corners. Itās disappointing to pay full price for something that looks half-done, both in quality and customer service. PJās management really needs to address how customer concerns are handled and ensure drinks are prepared to a standard that reflects pride in their brand. This experience left a bad taste in more...

Iām tired of ācoffee shopsā taking the easy short way out to provide a quality latte. Coffee shops that want to represent a legit coffee culture need to invest some time and effort into making homemade syrups.
But the #1 failure is when employees donāt exhibit basic food service hygiene standards. Although the staff were cordial, the young gentleman that was taking my order ran his fingers thru his hair, then goes to the espresso machine to start step one of the order. I donāt want to see you run your fingers thru your hair or scratch your scalp before you touch my food or drink (or cup). Please teach your employees to not touch their face, hair, etc. if they will be...
