Noodle Master — Restaurant in Katy

I was getting my hair done today in Katy and wanted some hand pulled noodles. I was contemplating on hitting up Chinatown after but it was 30m from where I was at. I guess my phone heard me bc the next thing I knew, I saw an ad for Noodle Master. It’s their grand opening in the Katy location and was only 9min from where I was at!

I looked at their menu and read some reviews and decided to try them out. I got there around 3:40pm and was quickly greeted by a sweet young lady named Morgan. She told me I could sit anywhere and quickly came to the table and brought a menu. I was overwhelmed when all the choices therefore I asked A LOT of Qs and recommendations from her. She was never annoyed or impatient and answered EVERY Q and even offered to ask the chef when she didn’t know.

I went with her favorites and ordered the seafood dumplings and the stir fried (chicken) noodles. I received the dumplings first and OH MY GOD…they were SO GOOD. You can get them boiled, steamed or pan fried and I told her to pick and they came out steamed to perfection. It was juicy, the meat and shrimp ratio was perfect and the dough was perfect and chewy. I loved them so much, I bought 30 of them frozen to bring home!

The stir fried noodles were absolutely delicious and I think it’s bc of the hand pulled noodles. Morgan mentioned that they pull the noodles as you order them so it’s fresh. It came with SO MUCH protein and had a variety of veggies (Napa, carrots, onion, bell pepper and mushroom). It’s similar to a lo mein dish but with hand made pasta. I was SO FULL from the dumplings but I had to try some pasta and I ate so much I was sick lol.

I had a very pleasant experience and my server was top notch! My only sadness is that I live an hour away, but I would 100% make the drive to eat there again. It was some of the best I’ve had in awhile!! Def check it out if you’re in the area. They also have a few...

After reading many positive reviews about Noodle Master, I decided to give it a try, and it did not disappoint. I’ve been on the hunt for an authentic Chinese-style beef noodle soup, and this place came close to hitting the mark!

I ordered the Cold Vegetable Salad, Fried Mutton Skewers, and the House Special Beef Noodle Soup. While the cold Bego salad lacked some of the bold flavors typically found in traditional Chinese cold appetizers, the rest of the meal more than made up for it.

The standout was definitely the House Special Beef Noodle Soup. I intentionally chose the regular version to evaluate the base broth before adding any spice. The soup base was rich, savory, and well-developed, capturing the essence of a classic beef noodle soup. The noodles were soft yet pleasantly chewy, showcasing the quality of their freshly hand-pulled noodles. A spoon full of the house-made chili oil from the table brought the entire bowl together beautifully.

The Fried Mutton Skewers were another highlight, juicy and tender, and seasoned just right. They paired perfectly with the noodle soup as a hearty, flavorful side.

Overall, Noodle Master offers an authentic and satisfying experience for anyone craving traditional Chinese noodles dishes. I’m looking forward to coming back to explore more...

Y’all. We accidentally stumbled on Noodle Master’s 4th location, and now we’re OBSESSED. Like, where have you been all my life kind of obsessed. 🙌

From the second we walked in, the vibes were immaculate. The OWNER greeted us like we were old friends (instant bonus points 💯) and told us to pick any seat we liked. They didn’t just hand us a menu — they walked us through their faves, answered every question (even the weird ones 😂), and made us feel right at home.

THEN THE FOOD CAME OUT… 🔥🔥🔥 Hot. Fast. FRESH. DELICIOUS. I'm talkin’ slurp-your-broth kinda good. One dish took a few extra minutes (they warned us in advance) — but once we tasted it? WORTH. EVERY. SECOND. I'm still dreaming about those noodles, not gonna lie.

Location? It's super convenient, right off 99. Easy to get to, hard to leave without wanting to come back tomorrow.

This place is officially going into our dinner rotation. If you’re hungry, curious, or just want to fall in love with noodles again — GO TO NOODLE MASTER. Don’t walk. RUN. Your taste buds will thank you. Your future self will high five you. ✋
