PUCCI Café — Restaurant in Katy

Do not come here to do work - I came around 10 AM, ordered a drink and jumped on some work calls. 2 and half hours later about to jump off my computer and a worker came over to say “we only allow people to work inside that order a certain amount of items since we have limited space. So if someone comes and needs a table, we will ask you to leave”! I was shocked, I work at several coffee shops and have never had someone say this. There were two tables beside me that were also shocked. One with three women working as well that were there before me. Keep in mind 3-4 chairs open to sit at if needed. We all got up and left! I won’t be back.

Updated from the owners comments - I was in the middle of a zoom call when the lady came over to confront us. She was extremely rude and walked off before I could even get anything out of my mouth. I would of happily paid for another coffee if needed. But that wasn't even asked. No one should come over rude to tell paying guest they need to leave because they are taking up chairs inside!

If she would have come over to ask anytime during my stay there "would you like anything else? I would have said, sure. Or, Usually we want to save inside seats for new guest if you are done? I'd be happy to help move your things to our 45 seats outside, please let me know. Sorry for any inconvenience.

There are ways to communicate the message in a manner where both sides feel comfortable. This was not done like that and that is why I wrote this review.
