Roasti Pollo — Restaurant in Katy

Food is very good but the last time I ordered food and the KITCHEN made an error, the customer service was horrible!...I ordered through door dash and when I got my meal they had given me chicharron (which is very hard and crunchy) instead of chorizo like I had ordered. I called and explained that I cannot eat the chicharron because of my sensitive teeth and asked if my husband could go pick up the correct order. When he got there (15 min away) they gave him a hard time and were trying to charge him because they said he should have taken the incorrect item back (which she did not mention before I sent him over there). I finally ended up calling them back and giving then a piece of my mind in order for them to give him the correct order without charging him for THIER ERROR! I've worked in food service before and honestly it's not that hard to just give someone their correct order or at least fix it, ESPECIALLY if the kitchen/restaurant...

We tried Roasti Pollo tonight and were extremely disappointed. 1) We ordered the chicken combo and they said they were out of chicken. Understandable considering it was later in the evening and the shortages with COVID. 2) I then ordered the southwest wrap and they said the cook didn’t know how to make it. I was getting a little annoyed at this point. 3) I ordered my 3rd choice. Tortilla soup. Finally something they accepted. I added a beef empanada to the order and my fiancé got carne guisada. However when we got home it was chicken noodle soup, there was no empanada and the carne guisada looked like it was off the kid menu 🤦‍♀️. Lesson learned check order before we leave. Rude Rude people!! And if you know by now is the food that brings you back but more importantly is how you get treated!!! And Laura took my husband oder and it's was wrong when I called her she was as nasty as can be! And I understand that she doesn't speak English but why work with the public if you can't understand them! Plus so pricey for there Soup with a cup of rice! We paid nearly 16 dollars! Really your food is not that good at all!! Taste was water down and full of a bunch of potatoes! Please safe your money!
