The food was good. Everything was seasoned. Hot and fresh. Portion sizes were ok but the food quality was pretty good! I got my order to go everything was packaged nice.
Service was great!!!
The pakora was very good!!
The samosa were good The mint and the tamarindo sauces were very good taste fresh / homemade not poured from a jar?
The mushroom, neema and cheese naan are some of the best breads I've had in awhile. Hot, buttery soft, flavor in every bite.
The chilli chicken was good I wasn't sure how hot "HOT" was so I got 50/50 the mild / regular is more like spicy sweet and sour the hot is more like hot sweet and sour not enough to make you cry or toss it out but enough to make you feel it. Chicken was tender and veggies were crunchy.
The lamb kababs were very tender and seasoned.
The rice was good mixed with the mint sauce, the chilli sauce and the grilled onions from the kababs I imagine the goat or biryani is good .
About $15-20 maybe $25 a person The restaurant was clean, music playing on the TV. Not the biggest place to host a banquet or wedding party but few friends or family or lunch. A real restaurant eatery ( not part sports bar, club, hookah lounge, bar just a place to sit down relax and eat! ) Table service style place so don't expect to get in and out in 5-10 mins. I saw 2 couples with kids one was a baby kid was in a high chair / kids chair ( maybe 2 years old ) the other couple kids was maybe...
Read moreAfter reading all the glowing reviews, I thought I was in for a hidden gem. Instead, I left sweaty, carb-loaded, and deeply confused about the internet’s taste buds.
The restaurant felt like a steam room with tables and a single overworked fan that spun in the corner. I was drenched, and I'm sad to say that it was not from spice.
At $11, the buffet sounds like a great deal until you see it. When we went, there were only 6 options, FIVE of which were just different variations of carbs: rice, potatoes, lentils, pasta and more rice. And the naan? Not included. Because of course, only way of eating your carbs is with more carbs, but at a la carte pricing
The service? Barely. We got water and tea once, and then it was radio silence. No refills, no fresh plates, just us and our ever-growing pile of warm carbs.
To be fair, the food tasted fine. But in a city full of great Indian food, “fine” is not enough. I genuinely want to ask: Who are these people leaving five-star reviews? Did we go to the same restaurant, or they part of a very passionate rice cult?
Overall, I came to be wowed and left with heat exhaustion and a starch-induced coma. If I ever return, I’m bringing a protein bar, my own naan, and a...
Read moreI've been eating here every week as I study since March after they opened and since then I've tried their Chicken Tikka Masala (spicy and delicious), Butter Chicken (creamy and filing), Vegetable Pakora (I'm not a big fan of onions but the chef there insisted I try it and I got to say if you're a vegan or vegetarian they have good food for you!), Paneer Pakora (it is good), Chicken Pakora (the chef fried potatoes to go with them for my niece, they are super friendly and welcoming and they don't mind if you bring in food and drinks for other places!) and my most recent was the Chicken Briyani (super good & comes with a spicy green sauce it's so good) I believe they might do catering as well & lastly I can't forget their freshly baked naan bread! very halal and I would recommend this place to anyone looking to try some authentic...
