Cicis Pizza — Restaurant in Katy

As a longtime customer of CiCi’s Pizza, I can say without hesitation that Sebastian is hands down one of the best employees I’ve ever encountered—not just at CiCi’s, but anywhere. From the moment you walk in the door and he greets you with that genuine, enthusiastic smile, you can tell you’re in for a great experience. It doesn’t matter how busy the restaurant is—whether it’s a Friday night rush or a chaotic lunchtime crowd—Sebastian always manages to stay calm, upbeat, and completely focused on making sure every guest feels welcomed and cared for. He has this rare gift of remembering regulars and making new guests feel like part of the family instantly. I’ve seen him interact with toddlers, teenagers, grandparents, and everyone in between, and he treats each person with respect, kindness, and a warmth that’s truly special.

What blows my mind is how he seems to be everywhere at once—restocking the buffet before anything runs low, sweeping up crumbs no one else noticed, helping kids pick their favorite dessert pizza slice, and still somehow finding time to check in on our table with a smile and a “Can I get y’all anything else?” He’s not just doing his job—he’s elevating it. He makes this CiCi’s feel more like a family-run local treasure than just another pizza buffet. It’s honestly a joy to bring friends here because I know they’ll walk away raving not just about the food but about Sebastian himself. If there were an award for Best Restaurant Employee Ever, I’d nominate him in a heartbeat. I had ordered pizza of over $140 for an event that was about rounding up. Cicis gave me a pick up time of 11:35am. I arrived at 11:38 to get my order.. The lady at the register told me she was going to the back to see the status of my order. She never came back to give me any update. No one else came to stay behind the order counter.The staff kept poking their heads out of their prep area with no one telling me what was up. When I got another staff' attention by screaming across the room to give me an update, she told me they were cutting up the pizzas to my requested size. I waited another 4mins. At this time I am anxious that the recipients would leave the venue leaving me with all that pizza( it was a surprise treat). When I asked them to just pack up the order so I could go, one of their staff rudely responded " it's not even 11:35 yet". At this time it was 11:48am. She looked up at the clock and quickly shut her mouth. Then they all started snickering. At this point I am irate at their seeming lack of emotional intelligence. There was no clear leadership to caution their rude behavior.

If they had stated a different pick up time, I wouldn't have placed that order because I was on a time crunch so to be insensitive to that, says so much about the staff.

Our group brought the energy, so 5 stars for atmosphere. I rated 4 stars for service. It should have been 5 if it were up to the ladies working the floor and keeping everything clean. They work hard to clean up after everyone, and they went above and beyond to accommodate our large group of 25 people. The manager was rude though. Unwelcoming and did not display customer service skills or professional interaction with any of us. She treated us as if we were a burden and she wished we wouldn't have showed up. I can't imagine why considering we were helping the overall sales for the day. The cooks were amazing and friendly and prepared all of our special orders with a smile. The ladies at the register were also accommodating, patient, and professional. They welcomed our group to the restaurant and made sure we were charged properly based on everyone's age. The manager never came by to say anything, only gave us ugly looks from a distance. Overall the experience was great. My son enjoyed the pizza and dessert buffet and even played some of the arcade games. It was the perfect stop for all they could eat after 4 hours of jumping at the nearby Urban Air. I will also thank the servers who allowed me to use a store knife to cut the cake we brought in. I really appreciated...
