The bad…. My room is on the first floor and stunk of smoke. I asked to be moved and the only room they had available smelled like mildew so bad I was nauseous. I told them I would just stay in the smoke room. Today I noticed water between my bed and the nightstand. It looks like it’s coming out from under the trim, maybe from the next room. But as I further walked along the wall, water seeped out of the cracks in the flooring as I walked on it. This time they had no other rooms available to switch with. Also bed sheets are dingy & do not feel clean. The window shade does not go all the way down to the windowsill so you can see outside, which means someone outside can see inside. I rolled a towel and put it along the base of the windowsill to prevent anyone from looking in. I would not recommend anyone to stay here. The good… location is close to stores, restaurants & gas station.

Disgusting. The scents are all masked with heavy cleaning products. The roof outside of our room was basically falling in. In our room, bathroom to be specific, the showerhead was covered in rust and other layers of things I do not know. Mold in the shower, and there was already toilet paper in the toilet like if someone had used it. The little kitchen that's right next to the bed mind you is disgusting as well, the wall is covered in oil? Or something else I do not know of. The fridge wasn't cleaned properly and the bedsheets had stains on it. My son went to use the restroom and came out with black knuckles which I don't even know how? The room stunk of heavy cleaner and it was to the point where everyone was getting headaches and itchy throats. Another thing I'd like to say, don't walk out alone because weird creepy men stay in that hotel. Stay away.

Tried to stay here in august 2025 (booked through expedia) and they are infested with roaches. We left for a couple of hours and roaches were literally everywhere in our bags and luggage. Offered to move to another room and had the same issue. Could not stand to spend the night and did not receive a refund. Staff is unprofessional as well.

My first stay at this hotel was in November 2020. Except some complaints about the Wi-Fi and a few other missing offerings or amenities, and getting a different price by the middle man website agent, and getting a different charge on my bank CC statement from what I was quoted, I got that over billed by $10 with no explanations. Then I would say that my stay was somewhat ok. ||My next stay at this hotel was in January 24 through February 5, 2021. I was ending a series of domestic travel flights, which I concluded in Houston Texas. ||So arriving at this hotel around 11:00pm on Sunday January 24 would have been a big break, and a fair opportunity to rest and recover from my jet lag and travel exhaustion. ||Once inside the room a bad stench appeared and it became more prominent as the AC was turned on. The stench was a combination of tobacco and previous indoor cooking; previous users did not turned on the extractor above the stove. ||I suffer of allergies. There was not time to waste, after looking at the filthy conditions of the AC filter and the repulsive aroma, it all pointed out with no doubt that, AC maintenance has not been conducted on these appliances in this hotel. ||Either it was cleaning it or losing a night sleep caused by allergies flared ups followed with an expensive time-consuming hospital visit the next morning plus another night with not rest. This whole cleaning process lasted until around 2:20 am Monday morning. ||It was definitely not what I anticipated neither what I have paid for. A definitely annoying experience. A member of the hotel personnel offered a night off for my inconvenience. ||However, it was never honored. The hotel employee stated he was not allowed to give out refunds. However, he never made an effort to grant me a credit to be used in the future. ||I have purchased a glade deodorant for the room and a soft scrub sponge and Clorox to deal with the sticky greasy neglected and hard to clean AC filters. None of it was refunded to me. ||During the booking process and much prior to my arrival, I discussed with the hotel members that I needed uninterrupted, fast internet. They responded that their Wi-Fi was fine. However I reemphasized this to them several times. The Wi-Fi was terrible again. They only assisted me to connect to it at the lobby, which was very different scenario from that in the room. ||They blamed it on my super anti-virus. Which was total fallacy, since the anti-virus can very well detect and differentiate among the public and private networks and proceed as required, allowing the connection to start automatically without issues or my intervention, as it has always done in several hotels, café, and anywhere where Wi-Fi is allowed for patrons in several countries and domestically. Their Wi-Fi had of has issues that undermined our personal digital safety and privacy. ||Their printer at their small office center set up, never worked, according to them it was out of ink. So printing some of my personal very private documents was impossible. ||This went on for more than a week. I had waited for them to replace the cartridges since they promised to load a new ink cartridge. I have asked, will you have it done before my departure dates? Their answers were yes! But they never delivered on their promised. ||It was difficult to keep up with who said what, since they had a bunch of individuals that come and go and they were not real professionals of the hospitality and hotel industry, most of them lacking of any sense of urgency and displaying a very strong attitude of negligence and laziness. I guess their little smart phone screens were much more important than their jobs behind that counter or their patrons. No proper training no professional skills to deal with paying guest. ||Another frustrating issue was they did not served the complimentary breakfast as promised back in those days, nothing! Even the coffee and tea and plastic ware sugar creamers were missing, very limited condiment tray. They barely and during some hours of the day offered hot water, coffee, sugar, creamer, and then they would shut it down. Their excuses were, the Department of Health forbid us to set up these amenities, amenities that they promised on their hotel website. ||This triggered a need of research on my part, and I called 6 hotels and not such health department regulations existed. I went a step further and later visited around nine hotels located nearby, at no more than a mile or two distance away and they all were serving complimentary breakfast, continental or basic and they were setting up their coffee bars even with 3 types of cereals, toasts butter, juices, UHT milk, low fat milk, jelly, various types of tea etc. ||Sadly to say another deceiving information from this hotel personnel. ||I have asked various times for a light bulb for the kitchenette hood extractor above the cooking top in the room, since it was too dark to see in that area. Again! An unfulfilled promised on their part. ||One morning I saw a man doing maintenance work out on the hallway I called him and invited him inside the room I stayed. He was new at his job but was very professional and responsive to my needs or the hotel best interests. ||I asked him to fix the loosed falling toiled paper holder, and the bathtub wobbling faucet. ||He did it without any questions. No other hotel personnel was involved this was something I alone and the maintenance man made it happen. ||I must state that no one named Mike or Paul were involved on this one long week old repair request solution. ||Next, at my request again he checked the hood light bulb above the stove, he replaced the bulb and after his examination, he exclaimed that the breakers were off. ||The light bulb was not burnt but they never flipped the breakers to allow proper lighting above the stove. ||Late one night…assuming that it was another guest from the hotel came to knock on my door at around 1:00am he knocked, and knocked until he woke me up. I just let him know this was the wrong door. I never opened my door kept my door closed. However, the guest next door has been receiving visits every night while they stayed there. Shady characters but again no security or much of monitoring of what was going on in those hallways late at night. Only once and after I called the front desk an employee promised to come up, but I never saw him. The guests for that room checked out and another one came to do the same late night dealings. I suspect there is criminal activity going on during the night. ||In addition, when speaking about the lack of skills, sense of urgency, and serious display of negligence by most of the employees there the following can be added as another frustrating event at this hotel. ||One day before my check out date and departure from the USA. ||Thursday February 4th around 3pm. I received a call from the front desk they were asking me if I had the luggage cart inside my room (the hotel has two) I responded no since I always return it back and place it at the entrance of the hotel. ||I was preparing and packing ninety-two kilos of luggage and I had to get ready and packed before the next day. ||Later and approximately, at 7:20pm, I went downstairs look for a cart but there was none on sight, so I requested one at the front desk. ||The employee promised to have it ready for me. But time passed and I did not hear from him so an hour or two later I called the front desk it was approximately 9:00pm, but still no cart on site. ||So I went downstairs again to question the employee about the cart, he was visit looking at his smart phone. ||I explained to him that I need this cart with urgency. ||He responded: do you expect me to call 50 tenants tonight? ||I told him well yeah.. it is not like you are calling a million tenants tonight, and it is still early and the use of the carts if for all tenants, so the violator is the person not returning the carts. ||He asked: how will I call? I said very simple just pick up the phone, introduce yourself, state the reason why you are calling, and apologized and wish the tenant a good night rest. Or you can look at your videos and check who used them last. ||He did not do either. ||Next morning came I managed to do without the carts the night before. ||So the next morning I raced out of the hotel to get documents from a private health clinic and look for a place print documents in color required for international travel, I also had to deal with gas refills car rental, returns, the bank, locate extra baggage straps and several other issues I had to squeeze in one morning and since airport is far and traffic and weather were elements to consider I need it to move quick. ||I mentioned that I was packing 92 kilos of luggage, not to be handled it loosely, first to avoid damages and personal injuries on anything or anyone. ||So as I walked back into the hotel at 9:30am on Friday 5th. I asked again for the cart but they did not have it yet. Again they promise to locate it. ||A few minutes later they called me and told me that they have found the cart and it would be brought up to me. I waited patiently but was also desperate and no one brought the cart and my check out time was 11:00am and I also needed to be present at ELLA / 610 before 11:00am. ||So at 10:05am I raced to the front counter and to finalized the saga I said let me have the cart I will pushed upstairs. I explained to them too many hours has passed since I requested this cart and no one has acted on my request since the prior day. ||At that moment the cart was still not available no on sight. ||It was a few minutes later that someone from the room cleaning personnel came out of the hallway on the ground floor diagonal to the front counter, a throw stone away, and no one in the hotel was aware of who has taken it the day or night before and proceed to kept both of them over night. ||They pulled it out of someone’s room right in front of my eyes. I had no time; I was pressured with time in a very serious way. ||In addition, some front counter “star” rather than apologized for the aggravation caused by his negligent attitude and his coworkers, he started to argue with me. ||He though it was a valid intelligent remark to say to the customer “I got it for you! Didn’t I” no logical thinking whatsoever. ||In fact, he is not up to the job. I heard from a senior employee that his hands were tight that he was not able to make changes to improve services or the situation on his own. ||Obviously, he works with people that do not care and are incompetents. ||I did get fresh cleaned linings or beddings but there was body lice presence and I felt them, which I combated by ironing the sheets, hot temperatures while washing 55C to 135F will kill some of the lice. ||See you may use your best soap the lice will swim on it. Or the sheets by way of cross contamination can get re infected only hot washing temperatures can get rid of them. ||The night of my arrival I was so thirsty, I have not stop coming from the airport and picking up extra luggage on the way to the hotel I trusted the hotel had a couple of mini bottles waiting for me. They did not provided any drinking water for the room, no a single bottle water to drink. I approached the front desk. ||They claimed it was due to Covid19. I asked what does Covid19 has to do with a sealed bottle. They did not give any water. ||Later I was giving the real answer. The answer was that there were many guests that would drink a sip of water and disposed or waste 90% of the water. ||So they stopped providing complimentary drinking water to the rooms. The attendant did not even bother in getting me some drinking water so I have to go and buy my own. I need it water I was way too dehydrated from my trips. || ||There were just a few things I may honor in this story and give credit to. ||The maintenance man was outstanding knowledgeable and professional and got the job done without excuses in a timely manner protecting the assets of the hotel and providing a more suitable comfortable experience to the guest. ||The same applies for the housekeeping crews they were very attentive, professionals and they showed above standards in their profession, cleaning, sanitation and hygiene practices. In all a perfect combination and driver of customer satisfaction. ||I must say that the hotel does not provide proper equipment to work with and I learn that the night I arrived more specifically the used of mops or pseudo mops that cannot clean through the microscopic grooves of the tiles in the floor. ||A grease breaking soap and wet towel with a heavy squeegee strong enough to press on it will removed the filth better. It will save the hotel monies preventing to hire a special deep cleaning crew in the future and providing a constant customer satisfaction and prestige. ||I know about this because I have a strong immune response that is unique and I have leant by experience how to maintain my environment safer to avoid getting sick and avoid spending time and money at the hospital. ||And, yes I value sanitation, cleanliness, hygiene in general and we are living in Covid times. ||Therefore, to this housekeeping crew of hard workers and the maintenance technician I give them my appreciation, respect and thanks for a job well done and their assistance while my stay at the hotel. ||They surely made a big difference….. Rather than the ones who constantly look at their smart phones all day and do nothing but to occupy space. ||And next time get the guy struggling with dehydration a bottle of...

I stayed one night here to visit family in Katy. I checked into a king bedroom at about 4 pm-ish (1st floor) & upon entering the room, it was super bright and smelled like cigarette smoke. There wasn't a blackout curtain or blind, only a sheer layer on the window that went up/down. You could clearly see the blind was missing (see photo). I went to the front desk to see if a blind could be put in (or something done about it) & the receptionist said there were no more rooms to change me to (I didn't ask for this but would've happily accepted if there wasn't a remedy), & after calling someone on the phone, she offered to put a blanket on the window. I was nice about it & accepted, even though that was unacceptable (& a bit ghetto), but I didn't want to make a fuss. I went back to the room to wait for her & upon returning to the room my husband found the roll of the black out blind that should've been installed on the window inside of the closet. We always inspect our room/mattress anywhere we go for bed bugs, & when my husband lifted the mattress (metal bedframe, no box spring) there was a lot of trash under the bed (see photo). When the receptionist came to the room with the blanket, I showed her the trash & stated my family & I would wait in the lobby until the blind was fixed & the room was clean. She said to give her a moment because she was going to put me into another room. I agreed because I just wanted to get settled in & get on with my day, yet I was frustrated because not only was this situation undesirable, I was basically lied to when I was told there was no other room available. I was put in another king bed room on the 3rd floor; the window blind in the new room didn't go down properly so it was never dark in the room (see photo), I killed 3 German roaches in the room & I found another floating in the toilet the next morning. The blanket on the bed was itchy, so if I didn't have the sheet on my body and the blanket touched my skin, it was uncomfortable. The room looked institutional, had no mirror in the room besides in the bathroom, & had no luggage stand. The breakfast had very limited options & wasn't good at all, so we ended up eating elsewhere. Note: you cannot take any food to your room & must eat in the lobby; probably because they have a roach problem at this facility. When I went to check out at 11 am, I waited at the front desk for a good while before anyone came to the desk for me to checkout. The positives about this hotel was the price, location, the premises were clean, the receptionist was nice & the bed itself (not the bedding) was comfortable. Overall, I will not be returning to this establishment in the future as my stay was highly...

The lady at the front desk Dipti Patel was very rude and unprofessional. This afternoon my finance and I checked out of room 218. We were gone for 30 minutes before I realized that my engagement ring was still on the counter in the bathroom, where I placed it to take a shower.

I was told by Dipti Patel that nobody had been in the room and was told I can go check it out, However, somebody had been in the room because there were new blankets on the dresser. I asked the housekeeper if she had been in that room or did she see my rings (there’s a total of 3 but my engagement ring is my only concern) she stated No, then she said she did go in there but the door was already opened when she went in there.

I let the Dipti know at the front desk and my finance asked her if she could run the cameras or if she could see the key log. She stated she could not. We asked for the number for the manager and we were given a number that was disconnected. Dipti told us to recheck our bags as if we did not do that already but we did it on anyway in the lobby. When I complained about the room and the stories not adding up I was then told by Dipti “why did we stay so long” as if we had another option traveling from California during the storm. The way she was unwilling to help made us really feel that she took it herself & not the housekeeper.

During our 5 day stay, we were originally given a key to a room that was already occupied on July 5th. We walked into somebody’s room and noticed clothes and shoes, immediately turned around and told the man at the front desk. He then gave us keys to room 218 where we stayed during the storm with no power. I bring this up because, this morning we heard 2 women unlock our door, but luckily we had the extra lock on so they were not able to get in.

We stayed during the Hurricane and were without power for 2 days. Our food spoiled, our window was leaking, there was no air circulating in the room and we drove around to other hotels that had power but unfortunately they were all booked up.

I have filed a police report & filed a guest relations case...
