Wendy's — Restaurant in Katy

I will never go to this location again! The General Manager Miguel is very rude and extremely unprofessional. There was an issue with my card being debited. He stated my card declined - but my bank showed it was debited. I attempted to show him that my account was debited and he refused. He rudely replied oh well you owe 28.77. He could not provide a receipt of the card being declined. My card was then charged a second time ! He gave the food in a rude and rushed manner. My husband and I honestly were shocked. At this point we had no idea he was the manager. My husband then goes inside , he used a derogatory term in spanish when he walked in! My husband asked again for a copy of the receipt he again refuses to provide proof it was declined. When asked to speak with a manager he says I am the general manager and shrugged my husband off. Fortunately I was able to get one of the charges reversed. I called corporate and now I am leaving this review. It is unfortunate that to be in a service industry job to act this way with anyone especially when I was very nice and so was husband. He may need some retraining or evaluate if this is the job for him. There was no cause for this. And lastly my order was partially correct upon checking! He was in such a rush to be rude and got that incorrect as well. I hope this never happens to...

I live 3mins from location so it's the most convenient. However this was my last attempt at giving them my business. I ordered online get the the restaurant no one in drive-thru, I pull up and ask to wait. Waited for 2mins. Told them I was there for an online order. Was asked to come to the window. Waited for a minute. Someone came to the window and asked if I can park while they made my order. That took a few more minutes... checked my food since they always get it wrong. And it was made completely wrong. Went inside to get a refund. While waiting to be serviced the 2 ladies cooking and bagging the food have long hair in ponytails but hair and hanging and swinging as they move. No hair nets on anyone's head. Manager comes over and ask the associate why I wanted I refund. When I told him why he made a step back and held his hands as if I was being aggressive. Didn't actually process the refund just gave me a $5 bill by sitting it on the counter. I told him that wasn't my total as I was showing him the receipt so he put another dollar on the counter. I would recommend going to any other location but that this one. Extremely rude incompetent and doesn't follow food...

The service at this location was a little sub par. We had to "pull forward" and watch as several other cars recieved their order. Our special order consisted of two singles without ketchup and onion. I wouldn't have counted on the that to cause a fry chilling delay. I'm also disappointed in the quality of the food as a chain. The burgers have shrunken to snack size. Their attempt at larger style fries is palatable only for the first couple of minutes they are hot and then only when covered in large amounts of salt. I can understand a company's wish to differentiate themselves from the competition but only when they provide better tasting or better value options. Wendy's was a family staple as a kid so it is pretty disappointing to see the direction...
