Honu Bar — Restaurant in Kauai

The restaurant is located in a very beautiful place. First we didn’t understand why would they serve all the drinks in a plastic cup, as well as cutlery. Felt very wrong us being so close to the ocean and people not understanding that this is just bad. I ordered a margarita. It was 17 dollars and I expected to get a freshly made one. It tasted like a cheap 7eleven can drink. The food was tasty but again all sides come in plastic containers. How a place next to the ocean does that? Awareness at 0, sad. Would rather pay more to get a decent freshly made drink in a reusable cup, would...

Went here our first day on the island for drinks and ended up getting dinner, too. The service was pretty slow, but the server was super friendly and attentive once she finally made it to the table. My wife had the mahi mahi tacos and I had the mahi sandwich and they were fantastic. We also had two drinks each, the last two were the lava flow (delicious) and mudslide (not bad, but not great). The views are gorgeous overlooking the ocean and the prices aren’t awful. For 4 cocktails and two entrees it was about $120 which is honestly one of the cheaper places...

Aloha, friend! I recently visited the Honu Bar in Poipu and let me tell you, it was a fantastic experience. The cocktail selection was top-notch, with some unique twists on classic favorites. The atmosphere was laid-back and inviting, with a beautiful ocean view. But what really made the experience memorable was the quality of service - the staff was friendly and attentive, making sure every customer was taken care of. Highly recommend for a fun night...
