Our hotel was a few steps away from this beach. This beach is full of activities from surfers to snorkelers. Getting a swim in before the crowds arrive is recommended, as we did. We're staying at the Kiahuna Plantation property and it's an easy and short walk to the beach. Read moreThis was a nice beach, but it can get crowded. Thing is the crowds are mainly those who are staying at the resorts and less locals due to the parking situation. If you stay at these resorts, this is a big bonus. If you are lucky a monk seal will show up! On a cloudy day, it will be cold in the water. Seriously. Major shivers (salute) happen if you go in the water and it is cloudy.
