I'm first generation Portuguese, and I have to say this is the best Portuguese bakery in town (and arguably, the best bakery). Everything is always good and fresh, especially in the morning. If you come in at 5 or 6 in the evening, do not expect anything to still be at the peak of freshness, as bakers only work in the morning hours; it'll still be good but won't be at its best. The place is always packed especially in the mornings, everyday of the week. That tells you something. I asked for an iced latte (typically made with two shots of espresso with milk) but was given an iced coffee (cup filled with two inches of space for milk). I wouldn't be so bothered about the coffee, but they offer iced coffee on the menu too (priced differently).
I definitely wouldn't recommend this place. I'd rather...
