WOULD NOT RECOMMEND My family and I went to this tavern after celebrating a wedding to continue our joyous night. When we arrived we were met with discrimination, intolerance, and frankly racism. The bartender/manager that was working the bar refused to serve our entire group of around 30 people that walked in to drink and play pool because supposedly ONE of our 30 did not have proper identification. This one individual that was missing proper ID was visibly of the appropriate age to be drinking if not older (respectfully). Additionally, she had photo proof of ID, so she was not completely empty handed. Our group also entered separately as we all took different Ubers, so the only way she would've known we were all a part of the same group was because we were the only visibly and notable Hispanic people in the bar. My boyfriend and I came in last and walked around the other side of the bar and when we approached the bar she saw my ID and immediately said "no you are a part of the group and I'm not serving you. " The rest of the 30 had proper ID and was willing to just play pool, shoot darts or hang out, but she told us that not only would she not serve all of us but we had to "leave her bar." We we're a family of Latin Americans, and we were NOT WELCOME at this...
Read moreI walked into the location for a drink with friends and got bombarded by the bartender letting us know we would not be getting served since the bar was busy. The bar did have the local regulars in there but was by no means busy. We did come to the bar at a later time but I never knew it would be an issue to order 1 beer prior to last call. She had told us no more tabs would be opened. What a waste of a drive from my residence. I traveled from afar to meet with friends and got shut down as a paying customer. Employees/bartenders should have the slightest bit more enthusiasm and interaction as they basically work for tips . Very disappointing making the trip here and was honestly a...
Read moreI regret to leave a negative review since the one bartender was nice, and I was even willing to be patient about their inconsistent hours and never being sure if and when they would have a cook. After all, a lot of places have such problems these days. But a $25 order minimum?! Forget showing up here for a one and done. So let's review: Not sure when they're going to be open or not despite whatever hours they may have posted, not sure if and when they might have a cook and therefore available food, and a $25 minimum? This place has so much potential to be a wonderful little dive, but it misses badly. Go...
