Great Wall Kitchen — Restaurant in Kenilworth

Extremely rude and unprofessional. If you're looking for a good meal, don't come here. If you're looking for pleasant people to greet you, don't come here either. We have been customers for a long time but today was my last day. I ordered a dish of broccoli and tofu and when I saw the dish, I asked if I could have more tofu because I could only see broccoli and lately we've been getting less and less tofu. He agreed and told me to wait a minute while he made some more. Then a woman who is usually there comes from the back of the kitchen and starts yelling very loudly and staring a me and throwing her arms in the air as she yells. I asked what the problem was and she said she made the dish and it's good. Her and the man physically fought over my food as he was trying to open it and add more and she was forcing the lid down. She then took the container and threw it on the counter and I asked for my money back, which she gave me. The man looked shocked and I honestly feel like he is a nice guy who wanted to amend the situation but I felt like it's only fair to be respected especially when I respectfully asked to add to the dish as opposed to rudely demanding him. I told her she is extremely rude and unprofessional and she lost our business, as we used to go at least once a week and never had any problems.

This use to be my favorite Chinese restaurant until last week. I ordered my food ahead as I always do. When I went to pick it up, the lady starts packing it in the bag. Then she goes back to the back counter open my lid (to apparently take something out that she saw). I guess she didn't think I was paying attention. So I said no what are you doing. She says I'll make you another one. I said no that's okay because I don't know what was in that one. Probably one of the best American-Chinese food in this area that I have tasted in a while. The food was priced well in comparison to other competitors. For those looking for a more healthy alternative when craving this type of food, you should go with these guys. The food didn't taste greasy or salty. Fast service as well.
