Bagels-4-U of Kenilworth — Restaurant in Kenilworth

In the past month and a half to two months I have visited this establishment about three times, and I have to admit that in comparison to Manhattan Bagel (Westfield) and Bagel Chateau (Westfield) this place is not yet too popular for it's own good. Over the years, Manhattan Bagel and Bagel Chateau have fluctuated back and forth in quality and consistency. I feel that Bagels 4 U now offers what MB and BC once used to. B4U does not cheat me on the pork roll I order and I have already noticed that the bagels, egg, and cheese themselves are far more flavorful. Even their coffee seems to taste better! Very good!!! I have been coming here since 2013 and this place is always good. Consistency is key for me at resturants and I understand that is a very hard to maintain in the food industry because staff is limited and good works are hard to come by. But this location is super clean, the staff is very friendly, fast service and the food comes out hot and fresh down to how they wrap the sandwiches. A+ for me!!! Below is a Bacon egg and cheese on a sesame seed bagel. Yum! Two fried eggs three big strips of Bacon cooked just right and melted yellow American cheese. I called on my way into work today, as I do every other week or so, to place an order for pick up. My experience went like this:

Me: I would like to place an order for carry out please.

Bagels4You: no

And the line went dead. I called back thinking we must have cut off and the phone was picked up and hung up without a word. Twice.

While I never found the service here to be great, they always seem under staffed and harried, and the waits are longer than I would like, it was convenient and the food is good.

As I type from another local bagel shop, I can only assume Bagels4You in Kenilworth is no longer open...
