I wish I could give zero stars. I posted a review on Yelp 4 months ago. It took a month to get my devices back. I dropped two iPads in need of new screens on a Monday. I told him these were for my son who has autism and is very attached to his iPad so we would need them back as soon as possible. He said give me a few days but should be able to have it done by the end of the week. I called Friday, not ready he said he'd call me Monday. No call Monday. I called Wednesday, not ready. He said he should be able to have it ready by Friday. We played this game for an entire month!!!! If he said from the beginning he was backed up and it could take a month, I would've been able to make the decision if I wanted to use him and wait the month or take it somewhere else. I would not recommend this place to anyone. On top of all that, one iPad was given back with dead spots in the screen and the other, the home button was not properly aligned and caused such an issue to use.
I chose to write this review because we needed another screen fixed and found a spot in Westfield (The Device Shop). They fixed the iPad screen in less than an hour for $50 less than Micromax charged. I will be posting a great review...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI'm in the customer service business so I try my best to be objective when rating a business and fair when I have to be critical. I truly believe in if you don't have anything good to say then...you get the drift.
But I have to say...DO NOT take your computer to this shop! My computer has been in this guy's shop for three months!! Took it in February got it back three weeks ago with a supposed new hardrive...GUESS WHAT same day computer was doing the same thing I thought was repaired. Now three weeks later after being told I would need a video card, I still don't have my computer.
Like everybody else this guy has no regard for how critical our computer's are to the business aspect of our lives. Three months and counting. But I bet this guy wants full price! I have never gotten one call from this guy saying what is the status of the repairs. Yet he has 20 computers on the floor in seemingly a one man shop.
I'm warning you don't be a fool like me and take your computer to this guy you will be sorry!! Don't know how he keeps the doors open. Shame on me and I am beyond pissed off. By now I could have bought a new computer!
Find somewhere else a One rating isn't...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went to micro max because it is super close to where I live. Turns out I will have to travel some to get decent, quality repair service for my computer. The pirate owner helped me by charging me $100 for "servicing my computer" and $100 for a new hardrive... a few days after the repair my computer was having the same problem all over again. . aggrivated and slightly irate, I brought my computer back to have no solid explanation and a free "re-repair." Now he keeps my computer for 9 days and after all the waiting and promises that everything is going to be fine I get my computer back only to find out he lost all my information from my old hardrive which he had claimed to previously transfer to the "new" hardrive without any problems. He also tried to charge my boyfriend another $100 when he picked it up and only now did he give me the old hardrive with my lost info on it.... hmmmmmmm.. seems to me like he did nothing the first time and charged me $200 then made me wait a week and a half to give me the computer back only to be disapointed again... Karma, Max.... thats all I'll say... KARMA.. hope...
