I frequented McAllisters deli about 25 years ago when I was a kid. Apparently my parents really enjoyed it as I recall the large club sandwiches and the spuds.
Today when I saw tmobiles free offer, I placed an order online for a club on wheat, club on white, and a Rueben for 12 pm.
I arrived at 1155am and was greeted when I walked in the door which set the expectation for fantastic service and makes the customer feel appreciated! Walked to the take out area and a friendly female began assisting me. She retrieved my order and thanked me for the business.
For the food, the wheat club looked (for someone else) fantastic. Also, my Rueben was delicious and I would definitely order again. It was piled high with soft rye and delicious sauce. The potato salad was a nice portion and had a good taste. However, I was disappointed that changing the wheat club to country white was seemingly like a regular sandwich. As in, it wasn’t toasted and it was not cut into 4 triangles like the traditional club. I’m unsure if I clicked something wrong, if they made a mistake, or if that’s simply the way it comes.

Read moreThey stole from me: I went on dec 17 with my family and ordered and payed for my food we waited for an hour ten minutes yes they was packed but that long still didn’t receive food so I asked for a refund the manager then began to get pissed that I was asking for my money so after another 24 minutes of her telling me to hold on she comes to register to give refund then starts to say things like I can’t take it people need to cover there shifts as I say ma’am it’s not my problem your understaffed I just want my money back she said ok don’t rush me and our receipt printer was broken to give me a receipt if I had any issues to call let them know but the money was sent back to card, long story short didn’t receive money called still have not got my money back for food and service I didn’t receive also let’s remember I’ve already tipped as well at the register please if you read this don’t go to McAllister‘s and waste your time or money this...

Very disappointed with the new location. Felt very rushed when ordering. Took a long time to recieve our food after being ordered. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very warm with hardly any air circulation. There were no napkins, lemons, salt or pepper available or even offered by the staff, we had to ask for it. Once food was delivered, they didn't ask us if we needed anything else or apologize for the long wait. Many people in the restaurant were verbally complaining out loud. Many customers ended up getting their meals to go and left. This was the absolute worst experience in all my experiences with McAllister Deli. PLEASE DO BETTER. I will not be back to this...
