Rock N Roll Sushi — Restaurant in Kenner

The owner of this restaurant is careless and irresponsible.

I ordered 3 specialty rolls a few days ago through Uber Eats, I called the restaurant immediately after receiving the bad smelling seafood in the sushi or "lack thereof seafood" the "manager" Thomas stated that the owner has other refunds he needed to process and that he was very sorry that I wasn't happy with the food and that the owner will call me and refund the order.

Fast forward 48hrs, owner never refunded the money or called me. I called 3 x within the week and left the owner Joe my number for him to call me after his Manager Ashley stated he will refund the order and call me to let me know it's been processed.

Today I went in to meet with Joe and he stated he will take care of it and call me in 30 mins. He called and told me there is NOTHING he can do because I ordered it through Uber Eats, I called Uber Eats and they have a 48hr refund period.

Called Joe back and he refused to do anything, kept telling me there is NOTHING he can do..

I blame it on him and his employee's lack of knowledge about Uber Refund Policy. Instead of taking responsibility for his team stating that the order would be refunded and taking responsibility for going almost a week without calling me, his way of rectifying the issue was to tell me HE CAN'T DO ANYTHING...

I don't see this place staying open much longer. Anyone can open a business, but not everyone has the ability to operate one.

If you want stale and bland over priced sushi, eat there. Sam's Club Sushi is way better, fresher and affordable.

$70.00 bucks for 3 very small rolls (8) in each with barely any meat and smelly seafood with dry rice. These are NOT specialty rolls. Oh and it Doesn't come with any sauce, I paid for 2 sauces 60 cents each and it was less than half way to the top. What a joke.

I rarely ever write bad reviews, but when I do it's always when the business doesn't make it right!

Potential Diners deserve to know the treatment I received from this establishment and it's Owner.

If owned a restaurant and my customers were unhappy with their service I would do anything to make sure they're satisfied even if it means coming out of my pocket.

I ordered the hibachi fried rice and a the volcano roll without avocado. The fried rice supposed to come with egg in it and it had maybe one piece of egg in it. The rice tasted alright and wasn’t anything that tasted amazing. The rice was oddly sweet which I personally don’t care for with hibachi. The roll had a strange old crawfish taste to it even though the roll doesn’t have crawfish in it. I didn’t finish the rice or the last piece of the roll because the taste just bothered me. I understand the rice is $5-6 but if it says it comes with egg there should be at least more than one tiny pieces of scrambled egg. The picture is the rice before I even ate more than a bite because I kept looking for more the one piece of egg that is shown in the pic. I got my food right when the place opened and no one was in there when I picked up my food so they def weren’t too busy to make a decent amount of egg for the rice. I will not be trying this place...

Family of four went for the first time. We ordered the appetizer sampler and everything on there was good. 1 person ordered the shrimp hibachi and the other 3 ordered a different sushi roll. It took over an hour to receive the rolls (wasn’t a busy night). The hibachi came out within 15 minutes but the rice was soggy and the vegetables had a bitter taste to them. That individual had to wait after eating for 30 minutes while the rest of us were waiting on our rolls. When the sushi came out they were very small portions. The VIP roll came out on a large plate but 1/2 the plate was empty. I liked my role. The other role ordered was a steak and salmon role with this blue spicy mayo drizzled on top (we didn’t know it was blue before ordering) it was very unappetizing. For the wait the staff gave us 1/2 off our rolls which was nice. I wouldn’t go back. Can find much better sushi for a much better price and quicker...
