Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Kenner

I went here last night at about 7:45p. I ordered a dbl cheeseburger off the value menu, small fries and a mini chocolate chip cookie dough Sonic blast. I was VERY DISPLEASED with my food. I asked to add mayo to my burger and my order did come out correct. But the burger was lukewarm. The patties were lukewarm, the 2 slices of cheese were very cold and unmelted and my fries were stale and barely holding any heat. They tasted as if they had been out and under the heat lamp for a while but the heat lamp may have been broken because like I said they barely held any heat at all. The highlight of my meal was the customer service by a young black man named Cobey or Corey..I can't remember and my Sonic blast was very good. My total was $7.17 and it should have been $3 they way my food came out. For all of the trouble I could have passed them up and gone to Chick-fil-A. But I wasn't in the mood for chicken. I wanted a burger. A Sonic burger at that. But I was very displeased and unsatisfied. The only reason I didn't ask to get my order redone was because I had to get home pretty quickly. But I won't be going to this Sonic location anymore for food. I'll probably just stick to the ice cream. Get it together Sonic. Boost the morale of your employees, give them better salaries, and give them more flexibility to have personal time off. 1 star is really to high if a score. Stopped to get a route 44 diet cherry limeade and a few other items. I was bringing it to a person with diabetes as a special treat. I was given a cherry limeade slush. Not realizing I was given a slush went on my way to deliver the drink. After the first sip realized it was not a diet cherry limeade. Took the drink back and was told I there was nothing they could do. Then was told they could do nothing because I left with it. My response was so you would like me to sit here an eat/drink taking up space that another patron could use. They realized that did not make sense. After asking for the manager whom I never had a chance to talk with. I was finally told they would give me a diet cherry limeade. They had already taken the original drinks from me. 15 mins later brought me what I thought was new diet cherry limeade. NOT!!! Brought me a drink and informed me the drink was a diet cherry limeade drink. LIES!!! Delivered the for a second only to realize it was the same slush drink. BAD BUSINESS!!! After receiving a text message for $1 6in chili cheese Coney dogs I went and took a couple of friends they were quite busy only a few spots open however they were very fast to take my order and serve me within 5 minutes of taking my order 5 minutes may seem like a long time some people but please be advised that I had 6 people with me and I had a very large order the server was very polite my order was correct and the server had all condiments that I would have needed for my order without being asked however before giving me the condiments she did ask me if I needed them. After receiving my order I made a second order 20 of the 6-inch Coney dogs and three shakes my order was brought out to me in 7 minutes and was placed into cardboard boxes to keep the hot dogs from squishing one another I appreciate the extra step that they took to insure my order made its to its destination I would suggest everyone download their text messaging app and take advantage...
