Last week, myself and two friends/coworkers decided to have a socially distanced tailgate in Johnny's parking lot. Friend #1 was days away from moving to Delaware, so we were having our final goodbye party. We specifically chose this spot because we have visited this Johnny's as a trio many times, and they have always provided excellent service, so it quickly became our trio's favorite lunch spot.
Anyway, somehow and someway, Friend #2 accidentally placed our to-go order with the Johnny's on the other side of Kennesaw. Instead of telling us "too bad, place another order," the owner of this location (i think) offered us to-go drinks to hold us over while Friend #2 picked up the order from the other location. This gentleman went out of his way to provide us a drink even though we had just royally messed up by placing our order with the wrong location!
After we finished eating, we were hanging out in the parking lot and the owner brings out some amazing cinnamon rolls to thank us for supporting them during these times. His actions on this day were acts of kindness and generosity that you do not see very often. I would give this management and staff 10 stars if I could.
Thank you, Johnny's, for making us feel like a part of the family. We will...
Read moreWell for starters I ordered an individual slice of pizza and boneless buffalo chicken bites for an appetizer. Even though my boneless buffalo chicken bites weren't even lukewarm at best, I didn't complain about it nor even mention it to my waiter. I ordered a slice of chicken pizza and added garlic on it. I took my first bite of it, and it was so overpowering that it was almost spicy. Had way too much garlic on it. I called the waiter over to the table and asked if I could send it back and get another slice with less garlic on it, and he said that they don't allow food to be sent back. Then he proceeded to tell me that they have never had anyone send food back ever. Then he brought the bill with a slice of pizza still on it, and I asked him if we could take it off. And he said absolutely not that it's company policy they do know exchanges or refunds. If you don't like it too bad. I'm never encountered this at any restaurant establishment before. And then he was walking away with my bill I seen him over there talking to the other young waiters and laughing about it. They will never see another Penny from...
Read morePizza quality has seriously gone downhill over the past year or two, and now they are skimping on toppings as well. On our last order we seriously got a large pizza that had two freaking jalapeno rings on an entire slice, and they have a bad habit of dumping 90% of the pie's toppings right in the center, resulting in a soggy mess that tends to tear in half when you try to pick a slice up.
That wasn't the first time we've had frustrating problems with what used to be our Monday go-to, so I tried reaching out to the restaurant via the e-mail address on their website over a week ago, yet never received a response. I guess that's their way of telling me to cope. Cope I shall, by spending my pizza money elsewhere.
(EDIT: I reached out to the second e-mail address from the reply made here, was ignored by the restaurant yet again. They seem content to double-down on their condescending attitude toward their customers even when they are aware that there is a problem -- we will not be customers of this franchise...
