HORRIBLE service. As a server myself you will never see me leave a bad review about service, this is the exception. First the person who sat us was beyond rude and impatient, telling my party we are “lucky she wasn’t our server and we got a nice one” because we didn’t get our ids out fast enough! we all work in the service industry and tip well over 30%, so I’m glad she wasn’t our server too. (Our server was great and seemed to be the ONLY nice person) Second, a skimpily dressed woman who claimed she worked at the establishment(not on the clock I hope because she was drinking with a party of people) started pushing people trying to separate people in her party from getting in a fight. After the altercation was over the claimed worker continued to stare and make rude gestures with her hands. Why are you at your place of work dressed inappropriately Why are you claiming to work at an establishment while putting your hands on paying customers because your own party cannot contain themselves.
Lastly, we could not find our server to leave so we had to go to the bar. The girl who checked us out made snarky comments and faces whilst taking our money. I paid cash so I hope our waiter actually got my tip and the rude lady didnt pocket it!
This was my first and probably last time coming here. The workers seemed like nice PEOPLE, but are working in the wrong industry. Their job is to tend to paying customers and make them want to come back. Not write...
Read moreI had a very poor customer experience and would not recommend Mazzy’s to anyone.
On January 15, 2025, I visited the Kennesaw Mazzy’s location with a group of 5 people (all of which are college professionals) to celebrate my friend’s 44th birthday. Shortly after arriving, our waitress, Allison (who was fantastic and very attentive), told us that her manager, Derek, was requesting that we, a group of 30-40 year olds, sign a waiver that we were not going to break anything. The clipboard that contained the waivers also included previous waiver signatures, the last of which was signed over a week prior.
After conversing with a couple of groups next to us that were all in their 20s, we were told that they were never asked to sign a waiver. In fact, one of them said she comes here every couple of weeks and has never had to sign. When prompted for an explanation as to why we were being told to sign a waiver that other groups were not required to sign, no appropriate reason could be given.
Later on, while we were still shooting pool and eating the food that we ordered (which, after including the time for the pool table ended up costing a combined total of $286 after tip), Derek came over to our section and took plates we were still using away from our table without asking because, “we need plates for other customers.”
Ultimately, the poor customer experience ruined what was supposed to be a fun birthday. I am not...
Read moreDo not go here if you are in your mid-twenty’s and have an out-of-state license.
After ordering a beer, the server took my ID and “scanned” it, and after the ID “did not scan”, the server proceeded to VERY DISRESPECTFULLY repeat to me that she would not give me back my “fake ID”.
My drivers license was completely real. All I wanted was dinner and a beer. After I told her that my ID was real and I asked her to scan it again, she raised her voice and again, disrespectfully, said that she would not risk her job by giving me my fake ID back. She then told me to call the police if I really dared to do so. The server and the bartender then proceeded to gossip to the entire restaurant and bar about the situation.
The police eventually came and confirmed that my ID was indeed legitimate and they returned my license to me.
The manager also arrived later and apologized for the “rudeness”, and she was kind. She offered the first round of drinks on the house, but was somehow shocked when we said we would take our business elsewhere.
Overall, the entire experience was EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL and RUDE. We waited almost an hour for my license to be returned to me. I understand that they might see a lot of out-of-state fake IDs, but the situation was handled horribly and there is clearly something wrong with their scanner (or the server lied and she never...
