Shah’s Halal Food — Restaurant in Kennesaw

My cousins and I love meeting here and dine in after work, or our lunch time. we always try to come during Djamila’s shift because her customer service is Impeccable. Last night seems very frustrating for her yet she still manage to take care of every single customer with a smile, very patient and professional young lady. I can tell she was frustrated with the cooks in the back we dined in but we mostly keep hearing her asking for things and for help no one came to help her or bought anything she asked. We watched her take care of us, her online orders and I believe it was a couple group she helped. Watched her running to the back and back to the front. I can’t do what this young lady does highly respect her work ethic and staying professional, fast doing a two man job. Great restaurant just needs better staff. First tried Shah's at the Peachtree corners location, and it's was decent. I was excited they opened in Kennesaw! I enjoyed the price to large portions ratio they do. They're very generous with each scoop at both locations. So much so that they struggle to put the lid on when the bowl is completed. The quality is very acceptable, everything was hot and fresh. The lamb/beef is cut perfect and seasoned to perfection. The chicken is very seasoned it gives off a red color and taste slow cooked, and moist. The rice is cooked well and consitant. The veggies are very fresh and pair well with the many sauce selections they offer. I added Pita bread and hummus, which is a nice add on that's unique to me. The service was very welcoming, and the staff was very kind to offer and recommend the sauces and ingredients within. I'm overwhelmingly surprised how much better this location is!
