El Ranchero Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Kennett Square

I ordered enchiladas verdes and requested mozzarella cheese filling (which IS listed as an option on the menu) as opposed to the meat options that were presented in the description. When my dish came, I only had two enchiladas instead of the four that the menu said were included, and they were filled with chicken instead of cheese. I also did not receive the house salad nor sour cream that the menu said was provided with all enchilada dishes. Service was practically non existent. We were literally 1 of 3 tables occupied. Food was not good. My Milanesa de res tasted like need jerky. My Server never came back to check on us after we got all of our food. My wife's glass was empty for the final 20 minutes we were there. It took me waving my hand to get her attention to get our check. I worked as a server for many years so I can make these comments. Im a location that doese t have a liquor license the server needs to make sure their service is excellent to insure a good tip because of low check total....

In days passed, I would have rated this establishment much higher. Times are apparently tough here, such as no staff, extraordinary wait for the food especially for the lack of patrons. The means of hand drying in the men's restroom were 2 rolls of Scotts single ply toilet paper. Knowing the outcome, I still gave it a try. Ha ha.
