This was my first visit in years and I'd only been there once before. It's still a cavernous place with an extrenely casual atmosphere.
We started to sit at one of the low tables near what is, I believe, the stage for live music night. Unfortunately, some very loud-talker was standing "talking" to someone at one of the nearby vendors.
So, we had to move all the way out to the porch to aviod him. It was cold & drafty out there, but mercifully without the annoying yelling-instead-of-talking dude.
We had pizza and it was pretty good. New York style--thin crust, not a huge amount of sauce, with the correct amount of cheese for that type of pizza. I'm very happy to say the bottom crust was not burned! So many pizza joints these days are on that fad. Not for me, that charcoal-flavored food.
I would prefer a little more seasoning, especially fresh garlic, but they provide all diy toppings I use: oregano, garlic powder, parm, and salt & pepper. I didn't see hot pepper flakes, with which I know some people like to ruin the pizza š, but I wasn't looking for it.
We shared a giant oatmeal-peanut butter cookie from Mary Pat's. It was soft and tasted very much like peanut butter-which is not always true of peanut butter desserts. I'd like it even more if it were a little bit more on the chewy vs. cake consistency side, but it was still delicious!

Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is a great place to get something quick to eat. There is a nice variety of restaurants. I love Mezze in the back. They have a yummy, asparagus salad and delicious, mushroom empanadas. My son loves the different toasts. There is a Mediterranean/Mexican one also in the back that has fantastic flavors. The owner of that restaurant also owns Rump Roasters in the front that has really good sandwiches made from freshly roasted meats. Though they have specialty sandwiches on the menu, you can swap out the different meats to create your own. State Street Grill makes good pizza and cheese steaks as well as a variety of other dishes. I swap out the regular fries for sweet potato ones and get them plain. Netx to State Street is Buddy's which is a burger place. They have really good buffalo fries (sauce and crumbled blue cheese.) Mary Pat's opened recently, so I haven't tried it yet. It is getting good reviews. This is where you get the healthy juices and there are also entrees. There is a local winery that has a bar and also serves beer and finally, there is an ice cream place that serves Woodside ice cream. There is live music on some evenings. I like to sit in the patio seating area since the center area sometimes has kids running around and screaming as their parents drink wine. Doesn't happen all the time, but enough that it can...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIf youāre craving everything, but canāt decide on what to eat, I recommend stopping by this spot! They are located only 25/30 minutes away from Wilmington and they have options for everyone! Some of the highlights included giant chicken sandwiches, bulgogi beef ramen, and literally the BEST cheesesteak Iāve ever had in my life! I donāt even really like seeded rolls like that but this cheesesteak was amazing! I got onions, mushrooms, ketchup, and mayo. The seasoning was perfect and the roll was very soft. For the ramen, I had a spicy bone broth with Bulgogi beef (ribeye), mushrooms, kimchi, and cheese. They also have excellent options for all of my vegans and vegetarians! The vibe is perfect for families, date night, or just catching up with some friends over drinks while you watch the games! They have a full bar, several options for draft beers, and a cocktail menu that changes every season. They also have live music, trivia, and other fun events so follow them for schedule updates! Definitely...
