Piccola Venezia Crepes, Gelato & More — Restaurant in Kennett Square

I've now been here three times, and each experience was even better than I remembered! I've gotten the savory Kennett Square crepe twice, and it is covered in mushrooms and cheese and some delicious creamy sauce that tastes AMAZING. And the sweet crepes are amazing too, both in flavor and presentation! Every time I go, I feel indecisive because all the options look so good. My wife and I stopped in during the New Year's Eve Mushroom Drop festival. We had a wonderful experience. Took a table in the rear, which has two cozy 2-person tables, and was immediately approached by one of the waitresses who explained thier specials for the evening. My wife ordered their special fruit tea, and their Orange-Cranberry crepe special. I tried their spiced hot apple cider and the Kennett crepe. Absolutely fabulous on all counts....the crepe special was sweet and tangy, and I don't believe I've ever had a more savory mushroom crepe. Just delectable! My wife and I had a wonderful lunch at Piccola. The food was very fresh and delicious. The staff and atmosphere were great. We sat in a little private area with a beautiful floral wall. We shared the chicken pesto crepe and Florentine flatbread. Both meals were excellent and I wish we took a photo to share. We finished our lunch with gelato and it was also very delicious.
