I’m usually not a fan of cake donuts but I will say, they were delicious.
The reason why I only gave them 4 stars is because while they do offer vegan donuts, they are fried in the same oil as the non vegan ones. My 2 year old has an egg allergy and never asks for anything. She just randomly asked for donuts last night so I looked for the closest place that offered them. I drove 25 mins this morning to get these for her for breakfast. Luckily I walked back in to ask what oil they were fried in and the very nice lady informed me when I mentioned the egg allergy, but was disappointed and baffled because ultimately, I was not able to get my kid a donut. Cute little place. I always want to support non-chain local businesses, but these doughnuts were way too dense for my taste, and the insides were very bland. The toppings were delicious, however! I ate all the toppings and ended up throwing the rest out. They're expensive, so not willing to pay that kind of money for just toppings.
Hope they consider a fluffier, more flavorful option in the future. I'll give them another chance sometime...
