I came in here on 10/09/2022 from 4-4:30 to do a doordash. First off I could barely park the line was so long. When I get inside there is a long line but I go straight to the counter to ask for my customer's order. 6 spicy chicken sandwiches. The cashier handed me the receipt that is supposed to go on the bag. After 5 mins there is still no food. After another 5 mins I noticed someone placed 6 chicken sandwiches on a tray on the counter behind the cashier where it's sat for 15 mins until I stopped the manager and kindly asked her of this where the sandwiches for my customer. I explained they where sitting out for a while and these are not fresh. I told her I need fresh food to get to my customer and that I was not trying to rude but the food sitting out like that was not acceptable. She looked at me rolled her eyes and a sarcastically said I'm getting on that. Huffing and puffing she threw the same food in a bag. As she was doing this one of her employees came to ask her a question and she snapped at him and said. "I don't have time for you, I don't have time for this. Leave me alone and get back to work". She then rudely tossed the bag on the counter and did not acknowledge the food was sitting out for 20 mins. I snapped at her and told her that she needed to treat her employees better because that was BS the way she spoke to this teenager and then told her to have a great day. She then yelled across the lobby in a very sarcastic voice have a great day too. This is why my family refuses to come here because this is not the only incident where they where rude then I couldnt even pull out of their parking lot and no one cares to direct the traffic to help. 30 mins for fast food and a rude manager.my business will not be in the place, That's for sure. I won't even doordash here again. Trash service and apparently trash food. The line was so long because so many people where coming from the drive through because of cold food and wrong orders. At 6 people while I was there in 30 mins....
Read moreOur food was great as it usually is at all Popeye's, but the service at this location was awful. The young lady assisting us might have been new, but when ordering a Tacklebox special, she actually ended up putting in an 8 piece Butterfly Shrimp special . She also told us we could not order a small/individual macaroni and cheese and told me the only option was the large, so we ordered that as an add-on ($9!!) After getting our food and realizing the special she put in for us did not include a side or biscuit we again tried to clarify with her and she just told us the special we ordered did not include side and biscuit. My husband was trying to show her on the picture in the window while I was pulling up on line what was included in the Tacklbox to confirm our understanding was correct....a male worker stepped over from the side. He did not identify himself as a manager but did interject as if he were. After listening for a brief second, he says to my husband "OK calm down - no need for you to have an attitude!" As no one was being loud or aggressive at this point, it absolutely escalated the situation unnecessarily. From behind my husband, I stepped around and now very loudly told I was now about to get an attitude. My husband somehow kept his cool and again explained we wanted the Tacklebox and expected a side and a biscuit. He did assist in getting the issue resolved but was not polite or professional in any way. I knew I planned to file a complaint, so I asked him for his name, to which he replied, "I'm not giving you that!" So I took his picture and told him that would work for submitting my complaint. I could not believe how he acted. It was clear the young woman assisting us was new. Had he simply said, "No problem, we can get this fixed." - there would have been no issue. Read moreI used to love the Popeye's in California, so imagine how disappointed I was when I tried the Kennewick store. The chicken was pretty good, but very limited. Three items I wanted weren't available. I had the family meal and the forgot to add one of the three sides, which cost over $4.00. I asked for hot sauce and they gave 6 packets for 16 pieces of chicken, plus I got some attitude when I asked for more. My previous experience at the Kennewick store was with dried out chicken strips and a 15 minute wait to place my order with only one guy ahead of me. All in all, I don't think I'll be going back. update It has been about 2 years since I initially wrote a review here and I'm sorry to say things have gotten worse. This time I was behind two people ordering and my order was taken within about 5 minutes or so. Unfortunately it took right about 45 minutes to get my food. They were busy (sort of), but that wasn't the issue. After waiting about 30 minutes, and observing multiple customers who ordered long after me get their food I asked the cashier about mine. Turned out they totally dropped the ball. My order hadn't even been started. After another 15 or so minutes it finally came. I did double check the food but didn't notice the missing biscuit. When I got home the chicken was so steamed up that the breading started falling off, and was soggy. Guess I'll try again in another few years. Maybe they'll get a new owner, or at least a manager that cares about...
