Panda Express — Restaurant in Kennewick

We pulled over for a quick bite because we'd been driving all day and we were getting headaches and bleary eyes. We didn't want burgers, but the trip we were on was kindova' emergency so we needed to keep things on the cheap.

We saw this Panda Express along the road and thought we'd give it a shot. We split two double entree meals with spring rolls and drinks for everyone for the price of a typical fast food eat out. Not bad.

And this much I can say. It was tasty food! The noodles were good. The rolls were fresh. Nothing felt like it had dried out languishing under heat lamps. We got some General Tso chicken and some string bean chicken and everyone was very happy with all of it.

The restaurant was clean and had a very inviting high end professional ambiance--kind of like a Quiznos, a lot of grey and black shot through with streaks of read and big logos, bright lighted menus and uniforms and an open kitchen where you could watch buzzing employees busily cook the food for the cafeteria line while you watch.

I'd say this: these guys were a lifesaver. I'll take an authentic sit down Asian dinner where I can get it, but if you're on the move and you just need to eat, this is an excellent way to not waste a dining experience and have a good time and get some...

The management needs to figure out customer service! We ordered 6 double plate meals for pickup. 4 had teriyaki chicken only as that’s what kids love. When we got home not a single teriyaki sauce in our whole order and one fortune cookie lol. I called and the gal that answered told me I couldn’t speak to a manager and sorry they are training. Um when are you not training? Everyone is always training new employees but you make it right. She told me well we don’t charge for that sauce even though we could? Really? So all our kids got dry chicken no sauce while we were on the road and wouldn’t eat but a few bites. We like many families do not eat out anymore because it’s so much but were busy running around and got Panda as a treat. They were extremely rude and short on the call and made it as if the teriyaki chicken doesn’t really come with sauce!! Yes it does!! Go in they will pour it in it or give you a side. Apparently the customer is always wrong here! Not to mention the shake down we got to pick up the food like here’s the confirmation number here is screen shoot of order oh and this is my name and still didn’t want to give us food! Won’t be back to this panda until a manager who has knowledge of customer service...

The workers is so rude. I walked up to the counter and waited there, being ignored for 10 minutes, all 4 workers were filling orders for drive-thru and then accepting next drive-thru orders again. The food were refilled slowly, so workers should strictly follow First-Come-First-In rule, I can see the entrees I wanted was emptying and given to drive-thru orders even I was standing in front of counter. I asked the next available worker to help with my order and then Makayla (she feels like herself is a big boss, telling others she can handle me) came to me and told me I have to wait for refilling. I asked about why they serve drive-thru customer first even there were a line of more than 5 customers waiting in the store? No answer or apology or anything, rudely interrupted my questions and repeated "YOU WANT TO WAIT OR ANOTHER ONE??" every time when I want to say something.
