So I was here 5/15/24 about 10:45AM ish and chose to go inside & it wasn't busy at all without any people standing in line the entire time( not so sure about drive thru though) The guy working the registers was pretty friendly & polite ...BUT the girl at the end handing out the drinks seems very "Careless or non social with customers " because after I received my drink, I asked her like 1 minute later while she was turned around not very far from me ( pretty close by) politely if I can please get some Iced water? ( I KNOW SHE HEARD ME BECAUSE SHE WASN'T SPEAKING TO NOBODY ON HER HEADSET) A simple reply saying "hold on I'll be with you shortly"OR even a simple kind gesture" and acknowledgement would've been fine even if she was in the middle of making a drink. But this girl seemed to purposely ignore me And i eventually decided to just go around to ask the front cashier, BUT BY THE TIME I ASKED HIM FOR ICED WATER.....GUESS WHAT??? ALL OF A SUDDEN SHE FINALLY PUT THE WATER AT THE END OF THE COUNTER, AND THE CASHIER MENTIONED IT TO ME ( I personally think she wouldn't have if i didn't go ask the cashier). Again she was nearby and wasn't speaking to anyone on her headset, But completely ignoring people on purpose is just plain rude and disrespectful. I have a feeling she might not like interacting with people too much and just prefers handing out the drinks asap avoiding interacting or caring to help customers with a question. Hell if I know anyways!!! If that's the case then find another job with less interaction...
Read moreI’ve been a Starbucks regular for years, I grew up in Seattle and found myself in the mobile order drive thru line once or twice a day during high school and college. It’s almost always cookie cutter, predictable experience - not this location at the Columbia Center in Richland. I came in for a coffee, and the staff was incredibly friendly and engaging, we reminisced about old Starbucks items we missed & the store was very clean and nice looking. I wanna give a shoutout to Maisie, I was in for an hour and she is just incredible. She recommended a drink for me that absolutely knocked my socks off, she was constantly cleaning the bar and tidying up when no one was ordering, and she made a point to make sure everyone’s drinks were correct and made quickly. (4 of us) The gentleman on the intercom was very short with us, and after ordering the first drink he promptly asked if that was all. He proceeded to do this after each item we ordered. Short and quick, with a sense that he was annoyed we would order anything else. To the point that my wife had to tell him it was a big order. (Not obnoxiously big either. 4 drinks and 4 food items). This individual was rude enough for me to save the receipt to document the date and time, so I could write this review. I have been to this location before and had great service.
