7 Brew Coffee — Restaurant in Kenosha

Went there for the first time yesterday and can't wait to go back!!! They have a simplified menu with a lot of customizability. I would recommend to get a basic drink first and then you can gage how to tweak to your liking after!!! I think they were just the right level of sweetness and that they have wonderfully playful dessert style coffee drink treats!!! The staff was very kind, courteous, and we didn't feel rushed at all. They were also fairly quick to serve despite being very busy. Wonderful experience overall.

Please note: when it comes to tipping, I have very mixed feelings on it. Despite those I did ask the staff a few questions and here those are:

Q: Are you all paid above minimum wage? A: Yes (google searches show about $15-18/hr cashier starting salary)

Q: So how do tips work for you guys? A: We pool them. (This is a common practice at many places)

I mainly ask these questions because almost all companies now try to push tipping and tips were only ever created as a way to get around paying workers less than minimum wage, passing on that cost to the customer.

I worked at Starbucks and made $15/hr base in an area where minimum wage was still set at $9.50/hr. I also was a server for years in downtown Naperville where my base server pay was $4.25/hr. If someone is getting paid over minimum wage, I don't tip unless they do an...

7Brew has some really good drinks and may be the new go to place in search of coffee. Fortunately they had some preview days before opening day and I must say that their drinks are pretty good. The Smooth 7 might be my favorite with the Irish cream but everything thus far has been pretty awesome. The Blondie, Brunette, and Peppermint Hot Chocolate we tried were also really good. I’m more of a hot coffee drinker personally so I can’t speak to the cold coffee drinks but based on the hot I would say the cold drinks are probably awesome too.

We did try a vanilla shake and it was really good…I would say it leans more towards a vanilla bean rich flavor personally.

The one thing that might hold back 7Brew overall is the lack of a lot of food choices as I see they have muffin tops on the website menu but not a lot else so if it’s a breakfast menu with your coffee you seek you may need to make a couple stops.

Staff was very friendly and even taking orders in the rain with a smile on preview days.

Drive thru only so get it and go is just my style with two lanes! Highly recommended as we plan to try all...

It's dark out. You can't tell if it's really late or really early. There is bright blue light in the atmosphere as loud, pulsing music surrounds you filling your ears. Young people are all around laughing and enjoying themselves. You think for a moment that you're in the wrong place that maybe you ended up in a late night club. You're wrong. It's a coffee shop.

Don't get me wrong, the service is great...when you can hear them. The coffee is good because you didn't make it and it's not Starbucks. Getting in and out of this place will be difficult as the curbs come at you as if designed for smaller, acrobatic cars.

Don't even think of asking to see a menu. You'll immediately be berated for not already knowing what they have or have it available on your phone. Because, of course, the QR codes are conveniently placed while you DRIVE in.

The only reason I return is because the extra-acting family members in my household think this place was an answered prayer that no...
