Coffee quality and price is comparable, and actually LESS expensive with a higher quality, to Starbucks, our Northwest staple. I greatly appreciate the variety, freshness and availability of their snacks and pastries. The fact that they come from local mom n' pop bakeries and cafes, AS DO their dairy products and other ingredients, makes me proud to give them my hard earned money. I always treasure the baristas who make excellent suggestions for everyone in our family, including our fur babies. They never make me feel rushed or like a burden on those days I'm running slower than average, lol, and typically have 2 baristas working the two windows, which makes it much faster than their competition, thus making it much less stressful when I'm pinched for time such as my lunchbreak or prior to work or an event. (Even with only ONE barista staffing the stand, they are so well trained that it still is twice as fast since they make 2 orders at once. And somehow also manage to do their side-work such as keeping an imlecably clean stand and homemaking fresh whipped cream!) There's a plethora of sugar free and gluten free options and the modest clothing/ uniforms they wear, coupled with their friendly but professipmal, friendly and respectable attitudes, never make me worried about pulling up with my grandchildren, parents, or even (on occasion) my pastor's wife. They offer a great rewards program which can be implemented by simply giving them your phone number rather than having to carry around or dig for paper cards. The convenience of 24 hour stands and friendly staff, who not only make an effort to get to know their customers but also to remember their drinks, makes them an incomparable place to patronize. Megan Moore is THE BEST Barista we've ever experienced and is a large part of the reason for our frequent and continued visits. Thank YOU Bigfoot Java, and ALL your staff, for making it such a pleasant and TASTY...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIt pains me to write this, because Iāve been spending $9.63 at this Bigfoot almost daily for the past 3 years.
TLDR: This spot used to be great all around, but the new employees make it a shell of what it was. Spend your money at the 50 other coffee spots nearby.
The quality control has taken an absolute nose dive. Out of curiosity, Iāve gone to other bigfoots this month, and get the same product Iām used to, so thereās either a lack of training or management oversight that leads to an absolute wildcard when you order something. Every barista has their own brand of oversweetened garbage, and no amount of tweaking my order leads to the result that Iāve come to expect from Bigfoot.
What sparked me to write this review is how embarrassingly bad the customer service has become. Just now, I sat in the empty drive through having a staring contest with the two employees sitting outside smoking cigarettes on the curb. Is there a bell I need to ring now? Do I need to know the password? Iāve become increasingly agitated over the past month with the current crew of employees. They genuinely seem annoyed that youāre interrupting their conversation when you pull up, ask you the bare minimum required to make the transaction, then literally turn their back to you to continue gossiping with their coworkers. The profane and unprofessional conversations that Iāve overheard puts Army mechanics to shame. The Bigfoot that Iāve been a loyal patron of felt like a group of friends- the old crew knew me by name, had my order ready or started when they saw my car, and our conversations were often the highlight of my commute to work. With this crew, I leave either annoyed or embarrassed by the reaction I got from literally giving them money.
I could keep going, but hopefully my measly $10 being spent elsewhere will put this location on corporates radar. Iāll try again in a few months, but for now, thereās plenty of competition around to keep enabling this...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreUnfortunately very disappointed with the service here. I visited from Canada and was excited to have one last Seattle experience before the drive home. 1st thing is they had 2 drive thruās ? So my sister and I sat in line for 30+ mins. We get up to the window and the peeing was fine but then neither mine nor my sisters card worked at their machines
( which the barista said it had had issues with her past 3 cars )
As well as we had just gone shopping at winco and McDonaldās directly across the street so we know for a fact it wasnāt an our card issue. They had already handed us our coffees and all they said was ā I donāt know why itās not working we know itās not your card itās our machine ā and they literally made us hand our coffees back.
So we spent 30+ mins in a line up to then get asked to give back our iced coffee because theyāre machine was not working.
I donāt know if itās anything like Canada but honestly I have never experienced anything like that being asked to hand back coffees because the company had issues. In Canada 1 itās against the law to take back drinks once they exit the window not to mention anywhere Iāve been too if itās a company issues they say ā our machine is down itās on us today ā
Anyways not the...
