Came here for the grand opening - wait was kind of long but I've also waited longer before, it took about an hour to order. Front-of-house was nice, and patient for being busy on their first day. Surprisingly no strong smells, even though I was expecting that for a place serving heavy spices/curry. There were lots of options on their menu in terms of flavors/toppings, including traditional ones on top of their specialty Indian flavors. Prices seemed on par for Indian cuisine and local pizza spots, but very pricey compared to chain pizza stores - starting at 17.99 plus tax for a small pizza (10"). Probably should have a slightly smaller portion for much cheaper, so it's more accessible... (their personal size that's 8" perhaps, available in their full menu instead of just the lunch special menu). Although I loved the crispy/well raised crust - for selling curry pizza I definitely expected a curry sauce as the base of my pizza. There were no sauces anywhere - not under the cheese, nor drizzled on top, nor with the chicken, nor even as a dip, which seemed very misleading. If I order Butter Chicken Pizza, I expect... a butter chicken. I've never known that to be just a dry, marinated thing. Without the sauce it is extra noticeable how little protein there was. Just flavored tiny little pieces of cut up chicken on top. I would not call it a curry pizza as there was no actual curry. Just maybe a hint of spices. None of our dishes really represented the actual flavor/dish it is supposed to, including the wings. We got Tandoori wings and they were good, but could have been better flavored as well - just tasted like indian spices but nothing specific. It also could have used a dipping sauce to make the dish stand out more as Tandoori. The chicken also needed to be marinated in the spices a bit better so the flavor would penetrate better instead of just the dry rub...
Read moreMy sister, her fiancé, and I visited this shop yesterday while looking for a local pizza spot, and to our surprise, we found Curry Pizza House. Since it was our first time there, we went in with no expectations—but we were pleasantly surprised! It took us a few minutes to decide, but we ended up ordering their X-Large Indian Gourmet Pizza, their 20-piece wings (half Lemon Pepper, half BBQ), and a Mango Lassi. Everything was absolutely worth it! The pizza was larger than expected, loaded with what seemed like fresh ingredients, and had amazing flavors. The wings were juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The Mango Lassi was refreshing and delicious. To our delight, they also gave us their Desi Garlic Bread, which were incredibly cheesy and had a hint of spice—perfect for any carb and cheese lover! The service was impeccable; the staff was patient and welcoming, allowing us all the time we needed to decide. The restaurant was also very clean, making for a comfortable dining experience. This place has definitely become one of our favorites, and we’ll absolutely be back!...
Read moreI ordered delivery and their website contracts out Uber drivers -FYI - no private delivery driver. Unfortunately, the driver got lost but then never responded to my call or texts. The shop was closed by the time we expected our delivery so I couldn't talk with the shop. I will say, I talked with one of the employees (maybe the owner? Manager?) the next day and they were very apologetic even though it wasn't their fault - they confirmed the time they handed off the pizza with the delivery driver. I was refunded for the missing pizza and they gave me a pizza and mango lassi free of charge for my trouble. They took 2 hits on not getting paid, and they were so kind about the situation. On top of how they handled their customer service, their pizza is BOMB. The aloo Gobi and any of the paneer ones are my go-tos. They'll be our staple pizza place now in Kent. Gotta get them reward points! Thanks Curry...
