Kent Super Buffet — Restaurant in Kent

Customers BEWARE! The workers WILL NOT ask you if you want drinks, like soda upon paying for your meal. They will automatically charge you for the drinks. We ate during lunch hour on 7/9/22 and I was so bothered that the total for 3 adults & 1 senior came to over $116. The math just did not add up. I went to the front for an explanation. The nerve of the (older) lady - had charged us WITHOUT ASKING if we wanted to add drinks to our meal. So I got mad and said, "YOU CAN'T ALWAYS ASSUME THAT EVERY CUSTOMER WANTS TO DRINK SODA. YOU SHOULD HAVE ASKED US FIRST!"

We hardly drink sodas anymore at restaurants - so of course, I was furious that they wrongfully charged us for them. All these people just care about how to get as much money from their customers even if they play dirty. That's BAD BUSINESS! Doesn't matter who you are.

Anyway, because we were celebrating grandma's bday, we didn't bother to push for a refund on the drinks. The quality of all the food got worse since we were last here (2019). Temperature of the hot foods was only warm. The taste and texture were not fresh. The bathroom stalls were gross - garbage piled up inside.

We will NEVER COME BACK TO THIS SUPER BUFFET in Kent.

To the owner, you will lose business and your restaurant will permanently close because of how you wrongfully overcharge your customers and only care about money instead of providing great customer service, cooking well prepared food and maintaining good...

This happened on Memorial Day, I just realized that it was only on Yelp and not on here. It should be on both so I am copying it here as well.

I was delivering for Doordash this morning and had a pickup from here around 11:30am and asked the girl at the counter (I was told her name is Rita) who gave me the Doordash order, what the lunch price was and she told me it was $10.99. I said wow even though it's a holiday, nice, I will bring my daughters back for lunch later, how late does lunch go until? She said 3:25 and I said great see you later. She smiled and said thank you. I come back at 2pm with my 2 daughters, we eat and go to pay and another girl (supposedly Judy) is now charging me $60. I question the price and she tells me no, it's a holiday, "Rita" is standing right next to her and I tell her no, you told me earlier that it was $10.99 and now all of a sudden she "doesn't speak English, or understand" I tell them it's ridiculous and she shouldn't have been working by herself earlier if she didnt understand. I ask for their names and "Judy" tells me their names and then they proceed to speak in their language and laugh at us as I head to the door. The food was warm at best and not worth $60, they had a beggar at the entrance to their establishment, and then for someone to all of a sudden not speak English and then to start laughing at us, I will never recommend this place to anyone again....

This would be our 4th time here and our last! Recommended many people to come here but I TAKE BACK EVERYTHING! If it wasn't for one of the waitress forcing us to TIP, then this place would be alright to dine at. $47 for an all you can eat isn't worth a tip if great service isn't included with our meals. Our seating was in the back with the dishes, carpet smells! Our food this time tastes old and horrible! So we ate mostly fruits and ice cream.

What mainly caused me to give Super Buffet a poor rating was the waitress, who at first seem very nice, very friendly until it came time to pay. We weren't even done eating and she gives us the bill? So we didn't leave any tip. This waitress did not want us to leave until we had tip her!! My boyfriend and I said no not this time, thank you. She had a confused looked on her face and point to our bill and said no put zero, tip! That's when I knew she was upsets then yelled that we are "No GOOD" This place is a joke!

When I spoke with the manager, he didn't even look at me and just nodded as he understood our problem, I'm pretty sure he isn't going to talk to his employee!

Don't come here, it's not worth $47 and some old mean asian lady forcing you to tip, embarrassing you in front of other guests when we paid for our weak ass...
