It was MLK Day! Monday afternoon. The restaurant was empty with only me and my brother in. They did get a couple of tables towards the end of our dining. As we entered, there was some hesitation between the three servers present as in who would attend us which was so very evident from their behavior since it seemed we interrupted their free time as there was no one present in the restaurant and all three sitting in one of the dining booths. It did take like 15 minutes for one of them to attend us. The food was good. No concerns with the food. The appetizer and the main course was really good. Now that I think, I do not even care how the food was since it is the way my time was not respected at this restaurant which reminds me each time I go grocery shopping at the neighboring grocery store. The one who attended us initially to take the order, did not approach us on me requesting him for the desert menu later. He firmly denied stating someone else would come and attend me. Well it took another 15 minutes to get attention from some other server. Finally after we were done eating, it took 40 minutes for the check to arrive. Yes, 40 minutes, and the check was handed by one of the owners as the servers continued to sit in the same dining booth. My rating is totally based on the service we received and the time we spent. Respecting customer's time and attending them is a fundamental rule in any customer service environment. These servers should be made aware regarding the sense of putting customers first. All in all more than over two hours in an almost empty restaurant for lunch out of which 20 minutes were spent eating and the rest on waiting to be assisted. I myself have worked at a restaurant for two years and I do understand times when the restaurant gets busy or when servers need to have their food etc, but in this case here, it was lack of...

I don’t usually write reviews, but I felt compelled to share this in the hope that someone from the restaurant’s management team takes notice and addresses what appears to be an ongoing issue.
The food here is genuinely good, with a variety of vegetarian options that are both flavorful and satisfying. Unfortunately, the customer service — as echoed in many other reviews — is definitely a weak spot.
There’s a particular waitress who seems to be in a constant rush, barely giving you time to look at the menu before pressuring you to order. Her demeanor comes across as dismissive and impatient, lacking the basic courtesy you’d expect in any hospitality setting. This isn’t just a one-off experience — even phone interactions reflect the same attitude, suggesting a deeper issue in overall behavior, and may be lack of training or management oversight.
What bothered us the most was how the check was handled. Rather than leaving it at the table and allowing us a moment of privacy to settle up, she stood there waiting — creating an awkward and uncomfortable experience, almost as if we were being hurried out.
While the food deserves praise, dining out is about the full experience — and when service feels rushed and inconsiderate, it leaves a bad taste no matter how good the meal was. I truly hope the management takes these repeated concerns seriously and provides the necessary training to ensure all guests feel welcomed...
Read moreInconsistent. Over-charges based on menu prices.
My butter chicken I got last night tasted like spaghetti sauce? Absolutely no curry flavors or spice (didn’t even look like it had butter?) and I ordered medium level spice. Flavor is always inconsistent. I’ve ordered the same thing 4 times and 2 of the times now it has tasted AWFUL (the other time there was a pound of nigella seeds in my curry and the taste was just nigella seeds so I couldn’t even eat more than one bite), but the other two were good enough to get me to keep trying.
Unfortunately, $25 for butter chicken and Naan just isn’t worth the surprise of whether they will actually make it right or not. I had to add cream and spices to my curry when I got home to make it even palatable; I kid you not, it literally tasted like rice and flavorless spaghetti sauce.
Also, based on the online menu that you can order off of currently for pick ups, I was also over charged by $2 (should have been $22 w tax not $25, which means they scammed me... which does not seem legal?)
AND there was like 1/3 of the chicken they normally put in there AND the chicken was also drier than normal. It normally would last me 3 medium sized meals but I got one. There were like 5-6 pieces of chicken?
Absolutely a waste of money. Don’t waste your time here. What I received yesterday I could’ve made better myself at home. Not...
