During my very 1st visit at this store, not only did the employee make my order last (when I ordered 5 minutes before 2 other walk-in customers) but she also made it wrong and acted as if it were not her problem (no apology offered, but to her credit, she remade it). Due to some sort of confusion, she also told me when I came up to the counter that it was not my order (?) when it indeed was. The tables and chairs were disheveled and there were crumps and spills all over a few of the tables. The store was not busy when I first came in, with me being the only customer at the counter. I regret loading up my Happy Lemon account with $100 just prior to this order.
Reply to the ownerâs response (2/6/24): my review is about your location in Kent, with the address of 10216 SE 256th St Suite 106, Kent, WA 98030. To be more specific, it is situated in the same shopping complex as Nanaâs Southern Kitchen and Blossom Salon. There is no other Happy Lemon location in Kent currently in existence on the date the original review was posted. As a former Restaurant Manager and a current business owner myself, I strongly recommend that as an owner, you should consider putting more focus on training your employees and taking ownership of the areas of opportunities mentioned in the online reviews as potentials to improve your customerâs experience/satisfaction and subsequently elevate your businessâ reputation/success. Dismissing a constructive feedback from your customer and falsely accusing the customer of reviewing the wrong location is not only disrespectful but also diminishes your credibility, which calls into question how well-executed food safety and quality control is at your...
Read moreThis was by far the worst experience Iâve ever had at a milk tea franchise. Iâve never seen such a poor combination of quality and service.
I visited this location today and ordered a milk tea according to the menu. When I received my drink, I noticed visible white lumps in the cup. I politely asked the staff about it, and the person behind the counter responded with a dismissive and unpleasant attitude, saying, âItâs creamerâwe use creamer to make milk tea.â Of course, I understand that creamer is used, but the issue was clearly improper preparation.
From my understanding, milk tea needs to be made with the right tea temperature to ensure the creamer fully dissolves, and it should be properly shaken with ice to achieve a smooth consistency. Instead of addressing the issue, he ignored my concern and treated me with noticeable attitude.
To make things worse, the tea was overly sweet with no actual tea flavorâit tasted like sugar water with pudding. I ordered 30% sugar, which I know should still allow the tea flavor to come through, but this was just unbalanced and unpleasant.
Iâve visited other locations under this same franchise and never had such a terrible experience. The lack of professionalism, poor drink quality, and rude service were unacceptable. If I could give zero...
