I just had the loveliest experience with the owner's kindness and generosity at the store. They have some really fresh and delicious cookies. I would recommend the long plain cookies that are covered in sesame seeds. I also got some chocolate cookies with pistachio. These are much lighter than typical American cookies and not too sweet making them perfect for coffee. I saw several packages of fresh flat bread, and asked the owner about it. I am sure he recognised my interest in it but I was explaining how I would never be able to consume 10 as a small household. He made me a smaller package of just 3 breads, which I tried as soon as I got home, and it was sooo good. I wish the owner and his business a lot of success. I am definitely going back to try the baklava one day. Also did i mention how generous his samples are? I had two full cookies...

The first thing that happens when you walk in is the owner, Ali, hands a piece of cookie to you. As you eat it, experiencing delightful new flavors, he breaks up another one for you to try. I knew then that this place would become a regular for me. The array of cookies, cakes, and pastries are an adventure waiting to be discovered. Beyond the pastry counter, they are kneading and baking large flatbreads in a large oven. While we were there 3 different people came in heading straight to the flatbread, took piles of flatbread into their hands and folded them in half. Ali gave us one to try when we left, folding it in half and putting it into a paper bag. We stopped in looking for something tasty - and different - to take to a small gathering of friends. So glad we gave it a try; we will...

Not for me, but I suppose could be good if you know what you’re getting yourself into?

These are definitely ethnic (Middle East?) influenced desserts. I got the chocolate roll cake, eclair, and pistachio baklava. The choc cake was light and airy, which I liked, but didn’t have much chocolate flavor. It was mostly just sweet. The eclair was filled with a very sweet whipped cream, not a custard/cream that I’m used to. And the chocolate on top of the eclair was also not a ganache, but instead a really sweet basic melting chocolate. The Baklava was very different than any other baklava I’ve had. This baklava have VERY VERY overwhelming cardamom flavor.

The...

Came to eat lunch next door and decided to stop in here. WOW! Super clean and cute bakery, smelled amazing! The women there was so sweet. I've never tried Iranian pastries so I didn't know what to expect and now I'm hooked. I got the cream filled treat, I couldn't wait to get home to eat it because it was that good. Fluffy, fresh and had an hint of rose. I got one of each cookie and had to take a bite of each as I was already full but they were all unique and delicious. I'll be back!

The sweets you made were really good. But these days of Nowruz, when you made long jam sweets and Yazdi cakes, I say frankly that they were not good at all, it was just dough and oil. I don't know if it was cooked properly or not Compared to the quality, the price was high, almost $47, but we threw away all of them except for one Yazdi cake
