We went to this location on Wednesday afternoon, after the big storm. Our power was out, and we were looking for something to eat. While we were waiting in the drive thru, I noticed a woman pushing a rickety plastic cart with unmarked boxes in the parking lot. I thought it was odd, but I didn't give it much thought. The woman returned to her truck, which was in the Popeyes parking lot and while I waited my turn in line, watched her unload about 13 or 14 metal serving containers (think the dishes they use at Chipotle for all their ingredients, except these has lids that sat on top) from her unmarked, dirty, old pick up truck with a canopy on top, there was clearly no refrigeration. She loaded these containers on the top of the cart. The lady with her was yelling and cussing at her that she was making the cart too heavy and that she should put some of the containers on the bottom of the cart. But the woman didn't listen. After the cart was loaded, both women pushed it toward the back entrance of Popeyes and tried to get it up the ramp to the door. Apparently, it was too heavy, and the second woman was really upset about the first overloading the cart. After some arguing and fussing, a man in a car behind got out and helped the women push the cart up to the door. I heard the second woman comment to the man, "Careful, they are leaking." The first women open the door and called out, "I got your chicken!" I drove out of the line and left. This seemed like a fairly regular occurrence, not related to the storm and power outages. I definitely will not be eating at this Popeyes ever again. I don't know if the Health Department knows about this, I am no expert about these things but it doesn't seem safe...
Read moreI used the mobile app and ordered 42.00 worth of food. We got there and they told us they didn't have enough food for our order and to cancel and they couldn't talk to us for 10 minutes cause there was only 2 people working we saw about 5 people in there. There was a car in front of us that was having the same problem. After me complaining the app wasn't allowing me to cancel and just wanted them to explain the process. They were swearing at me. And called me a piece of shi.... they said I had 2 options to take what food they had or get a refund. I said I would like a refund and they told me they already counted down their drawer it was a little after 9 and they don't close until 10. They didn't want to make any food for customers and wanted to shutdown early. They should close at 9 instead of 10 if they don't want to work. Very unprofessional and can't believe this is how we were treated. They should close down this location. My sister went there and they didn't have her order either and when she complained when she got her food it was dried up burnt pieces. This place is a rip off and maybe shouldn't hire foul mouthed employees. I never swore at them but I got called every name in the book. Never going back and calling the BBB if I don't get my refund....
Read moreActually I love Popeyes food. However, I was attempting while at work to order a pick up online. However after three attempts it wasn't working. At this time, I was driving my work truck which is rather large. Incapable going through the drive-thru. So I made a call and the young lady who answered, told me to go online. To which, I responded that I had made several unsuccessful attempt to do so already. I asked her could I please place an order and pick it up oh, just like an Uber driver or any other person would. Interestingly enough, several times before I have driven to this location including last week. I have parked my truck out front and walk up to the door told them I was driving a large truck and they graciously took my order. Today, the young lady on the phone told me that that was unacceptable and they wouldn't do that. But she offered me to stand in the Drive-Thru line behind the other cars and wait my turn. Now, the line is approximately 20 cars long. It is over 80 degrees today. Maybe I am wrong oh, but that just left a really bad taste in my mouth. Particularly how tacky it would be for me to be standing there walking behind cars waiting to order my food. Just saying, that left a really bad taste...
