We recently tried a new Mexican restaurant in Kent’s visiting from Seattle, and it absolutely exceeded our expectations. We sampled a handful of dishes, and everything we tried was fresh, flavorful, and totally worth the price.
Pictured here are the Ceviche de Camarón, the Esquites with Salsa Macha, and the Rice and Beans—each one incredibly fresh and well-seasoned. The ceviche was bright and citrusy with perfectly tender shrimp, and the esquites had just the right kick thanks to the salsa macha. Even the rice and beans stood out with rich, comforting flavors.
We also had the Flautas, which were crisp and delicious, and the Queso al Horno with Birria—a rich, cheesy dish that you absolutely must dip your tortillas in. Everything was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. (We ate it so fast I couldn’t take a photo)
I tried the Brisa Verde cocktail and it was amazing—refreshing, well-balanced, and the perfect pairing for the meal. (Drank it so quickly, I couldn’t get a photo)
What really stood out, though, was the phenomenal service. Jeremy, the owner/manager, made us feel incredibly welcome, and Ambrea behind the bar was fantastic—friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what they do.
The ambience of the place was so fun, they had great music playing, and the areas were segregated creating a lot of space.
Everything was very affordable for the quality, and the freshness of the ingredients really made each bite memorable. This place is a gem and absolutely worth checking out—we’ll...
Read moreThis is without a doubt one of the best restaurants in Kent. I used to live in the Bay Area and have honestly always said restaurants here can’t compare to what you can get in the Bay, but Yoli definitely does.
First, the restaurant is really large, open, and clean. Ambience is charming with brick accents and nice enough for a date night, but casual enough for families.
Service was top notch. Everyone was so friendly and down to earth. Shout out to Zach who practically became my husband’s best friend during our dinner.
Onto the most important thing of all, the food. Yes, the food here is on another level. Chips and salsa are not complimentary ($4) but when you taste the chips you can see why. They’re definitely better than what you get for free at other restaurants. Every single thing was really, really good. Excellent flavor, everything cooked to perfection. I will say the food here is pretty sophisticated and the upscale touches may not be for everyone. For example, you’re going to get a whole charred green onion with your carne (nice!), but a walnut/craisin green salad with your camarones la diabla instead of beans (not my favorite switch up). Cost felt really reasonable as well, it’s a few bucks more than your standard Mexican food joint but definitely worth it for the elevated...
Read moreI had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! From the moment I walked in, I was struck by how modern and cute the interior was! Stylish yet welcoming, with a warm atmosphere that set the tone for a great meal.
As someone with celiac disease, eating out can often feel like a gamble, but the staff here were knowledgeable and accommodating, and I’m happy to say I didn’t have any issues. It’s clear they take dietary needs seriously, which made the experience even more enjoyable.
The food itself was outstanding!! Fresh, clearly homemade, and full of authentic flavor without being heavy or greasy. Every bite tasted clean and thoughtfully prepared. Even after a full meal, I didn’t feel weighed down, which is rare and very much appreciated.
The drinks were just as impressive, well-balanced, not overly sweet, and crafted with the same care as the food. And the dessert? Absolutely delicious. A perfect end to a satisfying meal.
This spot is a real gem. I’ll definitely be back, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone, especially those who are gluten-free and looking for a safe, delicious...
